CNN Says Donald Rumsfeld (Sec. of Defense) Ran From Office To Help The Injured

Donald Rumsfeld, the Secretary of Defense, ran from his office down to the street to help those who were injured. His security guards apparently quickly moved him away to a secure area. Somehow I don't see William Cohen, Clinton's RINO Secretary of Defense rushing down to help the injured.

Anyway, God bless our police and other emergency personnel, and God bless America.

Two thoughts on this:

First, SecDef Rumsfeld does care about those under him.
Second, the security guys probably did the right thing. He is part of NCA, and has to be kept as safe as possible. His place right now is on an E-4 NEACP.

Contrast his running to help the victims with the image of Maddy Albright running after Arafat to try to bring him back into negotiations in Paris about 1 1/2 yrs ago. Rumsfeld definitely shouldn't be in danger like that, but it shows a lot about his instincts and character that he acted in that way.

A cowardly draft-dodger who "got religion" and jumped into a seminary when his draft notice appeared during Vietnam, and then "lost religion" right after the draft ended. He's disgusting.
