I have just been informed of the plans for rebuilding. This would send them the message, don't you think?

The architecture is handsome and even looks appropriate as a memorial.

However, I have increasing reservations about the utility of 110 storey buildings in the 21st century. As a minimim, there is always a fire fighting problem. We have plenty of land in this country and we should start to build vertically, and we should start to decentralize.

While this post is lighthearted, I fully believe that once we should rebuild a defiant, in-your-face structure on the site of the old WTC. Not some sad, mushy memorial, but a sight that will remind the world the price of messing with the USA.

*Cough* , um, look a little closer at the arrangement there...

Although I suppose there are plenty of natives who might appreciate memorializing with an architectural "New York salute"
