For Patriotic Song
Please Spread the Word!
San Diegans can lend their voices to a stirring new patriotic song. Recording will take place at a Kearny Mesa studio at 6PM Monday, September 17.
The song, ³THERE IS AN EAGLE² was composed over the weekend by Steve Vaus, a San Diego composer.
³I have a love for patriotic music, ³ Vaus said. ³Now more than ever Americans need music to lift their spirits and remind us of our proud heritage.²
The idea to invite the public to sing came as Vaus made plans to record the song. He said, ³So many Americans have wondered what they can do to help in these difficult times. I thought, OEWhy not add the voices of people from all walks of life to this song?¹²
The finished recording will be shipped to radio and television stations nationally and made available for free download on the web.
Vaus, formerly an RCA recording artist, has composed, produced and performed music for the America¹s Cup, the World Series, the Olympics and the United States Navy Blue Angels as well as for network television programs and major motion pictures.
Attendees are encouraged to wear red, white and blue
