The only reason her generation has it's Freedom is because of previous generations who DID give up our dreams and to die for our country. We will be asked to leave our loved ones, to leave our educations and to die alongside our brothers, sisters and friends.

I understand your fear for I have experienced it myself in the Persian Gulf War. It is a fear of the unknown. This is a fear that all human beings carry in time of war. In my case, I wasted a lot of time, and energy worrying about nothing. I was in service, but wasn't sent to war. The War only lasted 2 weeks! "The Mother Of All Battles" turned into "The Mother Of All Surrenders." Don't fall into the same rut. Sure the prospect of going to war is scary, but it hasn't happened yet. As for me, I'm waiting for war to be declared. Once I know that my country is serious I plan to volunteer. Whatever you do-- don't let your life be ruled by fear!!! As for killing it goes with the turf.
