I have been a lurker for a couple of years. I've never been able to completely figure out how this forum works, so I send this e-mail. Pleae forward it, if you think it is relevant or useful.

I used to be a police officer in Hannibal, Missouri. I was born a woodsie, and our family hunted to survive. I was able to put my tracking skills to work when we were searching for suspects. Our guys called it "bird dogging." I've been thinking that would be a good name for this war, Operation Bird Dog. The bird is the eagle, and heaven knows we have some K-9's who have been real heroes lately. Bird dog can be either a noun or a verb and also reflects a "Texan" attitude. I think is easier than Operation Infinite Justice, which we are already calling "OJ."
