Openly we expose ourselves, our love, our fears, sins and hate.

We are protectors and gluttens, risk takers and givers, without a clear fate.

For as many that pray for us to repent our heathen shame, thousands more wish to murder us, their ills, shifted blame.

We are blessed yet scorned.

Everyone's friend.

Everyone's thorn.

Our lovers, they love us. Well, today.

Our enemies, they love us. Lovers game.

We free the enslaved, our hands they do kiss, but that was yesterday, today it's fresh piss.

We're taken as we give. Killed for another's land.

Sharing the way we live. Equal is every man.

We are only two.

We are one nation under God.
