WASHINGTON The dual bombings ranked as one of the most insidious acts of terrorism ever committed against the United States: two American embassies in Africa decimated, more than 300 dead, and a shadowy prime suspect, Osama bin Laden, bragging that the battle had just begun.

Clinton, in an NBC interview last week, said, "We did what we thought we could." He added: "I made it clear that we should take all necessary action to try to apprehend him (bin Laden) and get him. We never had another chance where the intelligence was as reliable to justify military action."

America's first black president, in full "Tales from the Barbecue" mode.

Bin Ladan and his terrorist organization grew like a cancer from 1991 to present. He should have been stopped by the Clintonon administration, this is CLEAR. However, Clintoon worried about his popularity, especially if some troops didn't return from any offensive. It was CLINTOON who was and is to blame.

I heard Dick Morris say that Clinton took a poll and decided that there was not enough support to make the risks involved with going after Bin Laden worth his while. He was afraid that if the effort didn't go well and cost American lives, he would pay a political price.

Exactly.

Listening to that horrid Hillary person in her usual campaign trail voice speaking in the Senate demanding that President Bush answer questions just made my blood boil!
The arrogance and nerve of this woman just is beyond belief!
But then of course, she knows she will never be forced to answer any questions!

"Had Clinton scrambled 1,000 airplanes and called the nation's attention to the Africa embassy bombings, I don't think he would have had the support. What if he asked for $40 billion from Congress after the bombings? We couldn't even get enough money to protect the embassies," said Frank Wisner, a former CIA official, undersecretary of defense and ambassador to India during the Clinton administration.

Tell me, was Mr. Wisner one of the ones screaming for Bush's head yesterday?

The Sinkmaster expended his energy in trying to force Israel into an unwise peace settlement so he could win a Nobel Peace Prize. He thought that such would solve the problems in the Middle East and the nation would forget that he was a degenerate rapist who allowed the wholesale transfer of our nuclear crown jewels.

Sinkmaster and the rest of the leftists who love John Lennon and chant "Give peace a chance," have no clue how the world works. The use of power or the fear by our enemies of the use of power is what keeps us safe. Signing a piece of paper with those who are untrustworthy and do not share our values of freedom is naive, foolish, and dangerous.
