Free Legal Assistance Offered To Those Ordered To Remove American Flags or “God Bless America” Slogans
ANN ARBOR, MI, THURSDAY, SEPT. 20, 2001 — Despite a national tidal wave of patriotism and religious expression during the terrorist crises, numerous incidents across the country are being reported of school children and others being ordered to remove their American flags or patriotic slogans such as “God Bless America.”
In response, the Thomas More Law Center, a national public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan is offering free legal assistance in factually appropriate cases to American citizens who believe they have been constitutionally denied the right to fly the American flag or express their faith in God. According to Richard Thompson, Chief Counsel of the Thomas More Law Center, “It is an outrage and the height of insensitivity that during this time of national mourning and activation of our armed forces, some Americans are being denied the right to express support for their country by displaying our flag or expressing our faith in God. We stand ready to review and to give legal assistance in appropriate cases, to students, employees and others who have been ordered to remove their American flags or refrain from expressing their faith in God during this time of national crises. These expressions are a part of our national culture and tradition, and protected by the First Amendment.”

I believe that the pressure put on the vile left wing socialist/extremists in charge of Zerkely has reversed this position!.
I first heard about it on the Barbara Simpson program last Wed. on KSFO radio. I had emails and faxes going to the mayor, city council and the left winger fire chief in minutes. Than my email list was notified of this 5th column bs. On Friday the mayor came out and said that flags would be allowed on the trucks, at the station and the firemen could wear American Flags.
The ass. fire, chief, another pc load in the pants, said that he was concerned about violence from liberal protesters. The email that he got showed that the liberal protesters should be the least of his worries. I heard through the grapevine that members of the Cal football team volunteered to insure the flags stayed up and flying!
Anyway we will be monitoring these left wing extremists at Berkley. Their world changed on 9/11/01! They can no longer attack America and our flag without consequences!

It is time we raise holy hell (oxymoron) with all of these Vile Left Wing Extremists who hate our flag, America and Americans. Besides our power with emails, faxes and direct mail, we can Buycott these left wing clymers if they are businesses, phoney charities or universities wanting money from Alums!
They have the power of the first amendment to voice their hatred of America and our flag! Then we will use our first amendment rights and $ power to take their words and silence them with their own vile words!
