The Taliban would LOVE to use Jackson for a shield and it'd only take a couple million to the Rainbow fund to get him talking about how oppressed they were. When the bombs fall if one doesn't get Jesse they'll pop him themselves and say we did it. They may pop him anyway to play the race card like at OJ's trial. The Taliban is a shrewd bunch.

maybe the Senators who voted for closing bases are behind this?
Looks like the "peace movement" is having it's effect on the US Senate already.
Maybe the Senators who are up for re-election in '02 are looking for "sure" votes from those who will NOT answer the call to defend our nation. i.e. those who stay home will be around to vote, those that go may or may not.
I doubt that President Bush has said, AFTER Sept 11, let's close some bases. I think the Senators who are voting for base closing in a time of war are using this for their own political advantage.
This make as much sense as having a crime wave in your neighborhood and disconnecting your burglar alarm because your neighbors object to the way it sounds.
This thread INCLUDES all the yes and no votes.

You all are missing the point here, Foreign countries are trying to make us, America, look like asses. Jesse Jerkson is an Anti-American and he is just one more Anti American trying to advance his career because of this terrorist attack on America. He doesn't care for America but Jerkson realizes that the leftist media will be behind him because they too are anti American. And not only the leftist news media, but O'Reilly will talk about him for a week.
One other thing, let's do a poll, how many Americans dispise Jesse Jerkson?
