CHILLING: Check the date on this Kissenger quote.
CNBC ^ | Dec 13th 2000 | Henry Kissenger

Posted on 10/05/2001 8:52:12 PM PDT by Inspector Harry Callahan

``I can think of no faster way to unite the American people behind George W. Bush than a terrorist attack on an American target overseas. And I believe George W. Bush will quickly unite the American people through his foreign policy.'' -Henry Kissinger, appearing on CNBC, 2000-Dec-13

I don't know about y'all, but when I ran across this quote, I was floored. Look at the date. Sure he said "overseas", but it is still quite strange of him to "spill the beans" (so to speak) in this manner.

Messed up on the source. The link is correct, but instead of CNBC the source page for this is a different website. The actual quote happened on CNBC though.

What do you mean by "spill the beans"?

Are you connecting dots that don't exist?

Uh-huh. How convenient. "Oh, the link isn't right, but I know that I heard this on CNBC."

Sheesh. You don't even come CLOSE to clever.

The quote means nothing if you omit the question that was asked.

You need a new tinfoil helmet. The old one obviously isn't working, they're controlling your brain waves.

Why is this a surprise...hell the Clinton's knew about it in 1996 and had specific knowledge that an airliner would be flown into the Pentagon.

The real crime here is what Bubba(i) and Hilitery did with that information!

Their BS approach to everything cost us thousands of lives!

You're getting flamed a bit here, but I found this to be very interesting. Good catch.

The problem with an attack of this magnitude is that the American people will only support Bush as long as they think something is being done. And Lord, do I hope something is done. And I mean REAL BIG.

Sorry, Harry. Some jack-leg website ain't good enough.

You and Askel5 ought to get together, what with your mutual obsession with Henry Kissinger and all.

I think I remember Jennings reporting:

``I can do any Goddamned thing I want. I'm President of the United States. I take care of my friends and I fuck with my enemies. That's the way it is. Anybody who doesn't like it can take a hike.'' -Bill Clinton, in a White House staff meeting, as reported by Capitol Hill Blue's Doug Thompson in his column on 1999-Apr-8, regarding sicking the IRS on Ken Starr
