One major difference. We don't turn it into laws and beat women who don't follow the law.
Christians, through witnessing and missionary travels, DO wish to convert everybody to Christianity.
Christians cannot convert anyone. Only God can do that. Christians spread the Gospel, not convert people.

I know this. You know this. But I was raised in the Bible belt, and those who were not Christians (i.e. went to church on Sunday) were badmouthed as unbeleivers.
I guess the point I'm trying to make is that while we look at Islam, we should also take a look at the other side of the coin.
