If memory serves the americans were the front line forces throughout most of the war when the "BRITISH" couldn't even manage a beachhead into Europe and were playing a defensive game until the USA jumped the big pond and took the fight to Germany..hahahahahahahahahahahah

When I was working on a new submarine communication system, I was monitoring an exercise. One sub 'sank' a merchant vessel that had the misfortune to look like a hostile. The subs response: "war is hell". I hope that they're a little less casual about it if it ever happens for real.

Thanks for the link. Two things: 1. There are no F-16's in Afghanistan (maybe they were F-18's). 2. If the photographers were 75 meters from where one of the bombs hit, they most likely wouldn't have survived. The smallest ordinance our jets carry contains 500lbs of high explosive. Anything within 500 meters probably won't survive. Unless of course, they were under cover, in which case they couldn't have seen the jets to begin with.

As a former fighter-bomber pilot, I am not surprised at any errant bombs when the dropping aircraft are observing a 15,000-foot "floor" on their activities. If you want to know what you are dropping on, you need to get down low amongst the trees where you can see things with human eyes.

I do no hate Americans. I feel for almost all Americans almost what I feel for the Caribbean Indians, as Colombus arrived on the scene. Short time later they were wiped out from the face of the earth. I feel sadness.

Try some reality and less emotion. The national and native boundries of the earth constantly change...Americans did not invent this. People who are lazy gert run over by people who are inventive. Its the story of humanity and without it we would all be living in caves.

America, because of education and freedom, is the greatest nation on earth and I love it!

The Arabs have always been an indolent people and without oil there would be no high living and jealous Arab upper class existing on the backs of their uneducated people.
