Here is a good web site (from which I unethically took the photo above and now credit to make up for it) with video clips, a very interesting infrared satellite photo taken at the time the second tower went up, many pro photographer's shots, amateur image archives, etc.

Yes it is a very hard job and the worse thing about it is we don't get very good pay for it. If you are an EMT in Los Angeles, you are barely making over min. wage.
I was on my way to Paramedic school when we figured out as bad as I wanted to do it we just couldn't afford it.
Paramedics don't make much, I think from what I gathered I would be making around 10.00 hr when I graduated from school. We just couldn't make it on that kind of pay and I am too old to get into the Los Angeles Fire Dept. and work as a Paramedic there where you can make a half way decent living.
