"My wife says I've a cycle similar to a bear in that I "beef up" for the winter months...only to wake up come January with a fresh, new resolve & a few *rolls* to motivate me."

LOL...so weird!! I annually lose 15-20 in the Winter only to pick it up when I start partyin' and FReepin' again in the Spring/Summer!! My annual high point--weightwise--is November 27th...then it's downhill through the Holidays and The Dark Months of January and February and part of March. Every year, somewhere between March and April I start gettin' ornery again...FReepTime goes way up, BeerIntake goes way up, and the GymTime goes down markedly!!

If ya really wanna rassle me, BOY, don't NEVER do it in March!! I'll put a hurtin' on ya yer lover wouldn't appreciate!!

"I annually lose 15-20 in the Winter only to pick it up when I start partyin' and FReepin' again in the Spring/Summer!!"

Then you must plan your cycle for attack based on the approaching summer months when you like kicking back & piggin' out on whatever.
Simple as that, Mud.
We're all different & I'm confident when I say nearly all of us are accutely aware of the cycles we go through.
Yet those same people are woefully poor at managing their time & engineering a plan of attack which'll use this natural time-framework in an efficient manner.

For example: I focus almost entirely on my guitar(s), business (art) during these fall months.
Since doing so is very cerebral by comparrison to the gym-rat routine of spring?

btw, I'm an Aries late-March Baby; so mabbe you best pick a different month for that rasslin' match?
You'll be playing to my strength otherwise, son. {g}
