I voted proudly for Ralph Nader.

Who is in philosophy a communist, and against capitalism.

Do you agree with this? Have you read your own platform and Nader's philosophy.

You imply he was invited to resign. A complete lie.

He fulfilled his points requirement for the year before the sixth year of his enlistment was up. He was going to be entering Harvard graduate business school and his post was being transfered to Boston, Massachusetts. It was under these circumstances that he separated from the Texas Guard.

You're a Greenie. That explains why you are anti-Bush, not all the mealy mouthed splash it all over and poison the well stuff that you are posting. I don't believe you for a second that you would instinctively take a bullet for a man while you instinctively post things that might inflame someone to fire the bullet.

You're full of it.

Yeah, but ask Alan Keyes if he agrees with you. You will get an answer that lasts 2 hours 45 minutes.

That's what happens when your views formulate out of deep thinking and are grounded in concrete principles. Alan Keyes may not appeal to Jerry Springer couch potatoes who are used to shallow soundbites and oneliners.

Keyes, like others who bemoan the great departure our country has taken from it's Constitutional foundation, are often compelled to educate others when they speak. For those of us who share Keyes' view, it's completely obvious how clueless the vast majority of Americans are to the tyranny and corruption that exists in their government. Only through education can we hope to restore the freedom we once had - that kind of education takes more than a second-hand soundbite.

As for greatest president of all time...puleeeeeease!

I just hope that for your sake you would have had the same regard for the office to do the same thing if situation dictated for you to protect say, Bill Clinton

Clinton posed a deep problem for me because I do respect the office of the Presidency, and he didn't. I hate what he did to this country. I hate the damage he did to the children of this great land. I hate his immorality. I hate his misogyny, and the defense of it by so-called feminists. I hate his disregard for law and decency. And yet, both as a Christian and as an American, I felt I needed to continue respect his position as President (which I no longer have to do).

I have struggled for 8 years to fight hatred for him as a person because of his degradation of the country I love so dearly.

As to whether I would have sacrifice myself to protect him, I'm glad I never had to find out. As far as President Bush is concerned, I have no doubt that I would, and I'm glad that even slightly-left-of-center people like you would do so to. America needs his wisdom, honor, stability and decency after 8 years of ambition, debauchery and narcissism.

The "Patriot" bill, from everything I've seen, has been a very harsh blow to freedom.

This bill is a harsh blow to the freedom of terrorists. We are in a war. The enemy, in part, is residing and plotting its atrocities against us within our shores. They must be rooted out and destroyed, and the tools must be available with which to do it.

Your statement that the President's signing this bill is going to do more damage than the wanton murder of 6,000 innocent American citizens is beyond absurd, and reveals a frightening lack of patriotism and perspective on your part, and a total disrespect for our Commander in Chief.
I hope you don't really believe it.

Absolutely no disrespect for W. I voted for his dad for Prez twice, him for governor twice, and for President. Would also point out that had we not had eight years of you know who, he wouldn't have had this mess dumped in his lap. I support him, and he's dealing with a different situation than Reagan did. Best President ever, though? Reagan's still the man.

I'm actually surprized at the number of people who took the "time" "to" read it, and quite honored actually.

;o)

Thank you!

It must really please you that the FBI or some other federal agency is reading what you post and any emails that you may be sending. Who knows, maybe they have already installed one of those devices to trap every keystroke you make on your computer. Of course you don't mind that your home may have already been searched without your knowledge and electronic bugs may have been planted. Yep, good old GWB, won't close the borders, be will take away our freedoms. Wont prosecute the Clintons but will listen in on our private conversations. Good, honest, moral, upstanding old George.

WHOOO YAAAA!!! The GREAT communicator, brought down the Evil Empire without firing a shot!!

Ronald Reagan, is, was, and forever shall be, the GREATEST president of ALL time!! AMEN!!!

Bush may come in a distant 2nd, don't get me wrong, I like Bush, A LOT, but I LOVED Reagan!!

He is the ONLY live president with an Airport named after him and an Aircraft Carrier. Tells me a LOT!!!

I grew up with Reagan, was born in 1965, he was the first president I ever got to vote for, and it was because of him that I joined the military. It was once again a proud and patriotic thing to do!! And with him as commander and chief, I knew that if I ever had to fight, it would be for a VERY good reason!!!

When this great man goes to meet his maker, I will cry, it will be like losing a family memeber to me, A GREAT MAN, A VERY GREAT MAN!!!

He is REAL, folks.

This is the one thing I can't buy.

Maybe it's just me or maybe it's the complete and total disappointment I feel for the republican party. I don't know...

President Bush just doesn't seem sincere to me.

He grew up very wealthy and very spoiled. He has never had to earn a dime in his life,

yet some many believe he's a common and down to earth regular guy.

He used to be a good-time-Charlie, frat-boy party animal up to the age of 40, then he had a "change of heart" and found the Lord.

It sounds more like the work of a very high-priced PR firm.

If he had not had the Bush family money and contacts he would have never been elected.

I'm just cynical I guess...best president ever?

No

You are from Eugene, I have family in Eugene. I live about 100 miles North of you. Couldn't disagree more with your views, but I will not fight the fact that you have a right to them.

I am a conservative, a bit right of center. I believe in sustainable developement of forest land, and believe that what is left of the old growth should be left alone, there are enough trees out there without taking those too.

But I also believe that we should be drilling in ANWAR, the gulf and off the california coast, should be getting that cleaner burning coal in Utah out of the ground, you know the stuff Clinton licked up for campaign payoffs, and should be building as many nuclear power plants as possible to make up for the shortfall due to the stupid greenie policies of states like California and Oregon and Washington state in the last 10-20 years. It is a safe, clean, and reliable way of getting electricity.

Like I said, most of the time we will disagree, ESPECIALLY when it comes to Reagan, he is one of my personal heros, and I listen to Col. Oliver North almost everyday. What they did that you hate so much, I consider heroic and was worth doing!!

Ronald Reagan was a wonderful President.

Jimmy Carter was scum and evil and never should have been president ever. Carter is no better then Clinton.

Bush and Reagan will be known as the greatest Presidents.
