GOTTA SEE THIS: STRIKE VIDEOS OF CAVES NEAR KABUL **** (mpgs)
DOD ^ | 11/1/01 | US Military after the 911 Atrocity

Posted on 11/01/2001 1:40:15 PM PST by Diogenesis

Cave complex near Kabul (mpg 1.8 MB)

Cave near a ridge top (mpg 3.6 MB)

Second view of the previous strike(mpg 3 MB)

General Myers: "In yesterday's operations we struck in eight planned target areas, principally
around Mazar-e Sharif, Kabul and Kandahar as well as in a number of engagement zones
around Afghanistan. We used about 55 strike aircraft yesterday, including about 40 tactical jets
off our carriers, between four and six land-based tactical aircraft, and about eight to 10 long-range bombers.
Yesterday two C-17s delivered about 34,000 food rations in the north for a total of approximately to date 1,062,000.
We also flew Commando Solo broadcast missions and dropped leaflets near Mazar-e Sharif.
Turning to today's imagery, we have videos from F-14s and F-18s depicting strikes yesterday
on a cave complex near Kabul. The Taliban and al Qaeda use these caves to secure --
as secure locations for personnel and for ammunition and for equipment.
The first video shows a cave at the base of a cliff. The clip is from the weapons display of the
wingman of the one that actually dropped the bomb.
The second clip has two videos which depict another cave located at the top of a ridge.
The first clip comes from the shooter's display, and the second clip from his wingman,
who's observing the strike. The large secondary explosion seems to indicate we may have
hit ammunition or fuel in that cave.

Thanks for these latest photos/video's and the ones in the past posted by you!

This is just more proof that we can destroy their caves without having to go into them, pour oil or propane in them or anything that puts our guys at risk.

The spec ops guys are painting these targets, and they are being destroyed with everything in them! I think that I saw one of these on Fox last night or this morning.

As we wipe out all of the caves but OBL's, we are destroying his goat humpers and war toys! Dead goat humpers and destroyed war toys never hurt anyone again!

Thanks, Dennis! Hopefully we can eliminate most if not all of OBL's caves with his goat humpers and their war toys from the air!

We are obviously into phase 3 of this action with the carpet bombing and these strikes that are burning up the caves from the sky!

Expect the nay sayers to go into overdrive as their buddies are getting charred to a well done. We will hear more negatives about how we can't win or how mad the goat humpers are at us!

There will be massive defections like in Desert Storm as this continues. Also, those Islamic Fanatic goat humpers coming in from Pakistan will be making uturns in their Toyotas and getting the hell out of there!

The B-52 pic is wonderful. What a great old workhorse of a plane. I'm glad they're still flying and a valuable air asset. Someo of them must be around forty years old. I saw a piece on television about a yonng B-52 pilot who told about how both his father and grandfather had flown B-52's as well. I hope we keep them around for many more decades.
