Islamist Threat
by Jennifer King

Part 1 of a 2 part Series

The entire civilized West is under assault by a group of barbaric and radical fundamentalists. Sound extreme? Fantastic? Unbelievable in this, the 21st Century?

Remember 911, when thousands, perhaps millions, of Muslims worldwide joyously celebrated the televised murder of completely innocent people. How can this be, when we are told that Islam is a religion of peace? Why is it that Muslims, even American Muslims, are so noticeably muted in their condemnation of the terrorist attacks? Why are so many radical clerics asked to speak at American mosques, spewing venomous anti-Semitism and anti-Americanism right from the pulpit? How can this be, if Islam is a religion of peace?

In Australia, charges are pending against 18 Lebanese men, who stand accused of 360 offenses against Australian women. The women were all gang-raped, with the men often using their cell phones to call their buddies over to join in the fun. One 18-year old woman testified that she had been brutalized over a period of six hours by 15 different men. One of her attackers later testified that he was "unfamiliar" with Australian law and that he therefore "didn’t know" that he was perpetrating a crime by making the victim perform oral sex on him four times, and raping her once. How can this be, if Islam is a religion of peace?

Panicked, the PC police in Australia insisted that racism was not behind the crimes, despite the fact that one girl testified that the man who raped her told her she "deserved it, because she was an Australian." Sydney’s Muslim leader, Sheik Taj el Din Hilaly, further fanned the flames by insisting that it was not the men’s ethnicity or religion that was to blame, but instead that their crimes were "products of Australian culture."

The crime of gang-rape by Arab men is not new. In Denmark, 7 youths are on trial for gang-raping a 14 year old girl. In France, 11 men are on trial for gang-raping another 14 year old girl. The French even have a name for this particular crime, "tournante" or "wait your turn". How can this be, if Islam is a religion of peace?

Today, Abduman Al Turkey, spokesman for the Mecca based World League, demanded that the United Nations refrain from doing anything that might prove offensive to Islam. He further warned that the West should quit connecting Islam with terrorism. Al Turkey was not specific on how the West should do that, however, since most recent acts of terror have been committed by Middle Eastern Muslim men.

Also today, World Net Daily is reporting that 14 Algerians have come to the United States and have immediately enrolled in flight training schools. They follow closely on the heels of 14 Syrian nationals who flew to the U.S. on October 16, also promptly enrolling in flight training schools. One of the flight schools is owned by a man named Khalid Miloud.

In the meantime, one of Osama bin Laden’s main henchmen has publicly vowed to hit the U.S. with another "storm of planes."

Perhaps we wouldn’t be so worried, if we could just be convinced that Islam really is the peaceful religion they keep telling us it is. ***

And all White American males were slave owners I suppose Well some were, so what does it matter if we say they all were. Its only words... lets paint them all with the same brush .. what the Hell... And all Muslims are murdering scum... they must be, after all they aren't in the streets screaming how horrible bin Laden is. And if they aren't thenthey must automatically for him.

Isn't this called guilt by association? The terrorists who are responsible for 9-11 aren't religious at all in my book. They just wrap themselves in the cloak of being defenders of the faith of Islam. Its a way for them to look good to a small group of radical Muslims, and a way for them to try and fool themselves that they are nothing more then butchering animals

Isn't this called guilt by association?

Not at all. In your case, it's a series of straw man arguements, false analogies, and logical non-sequiteurs, starting in post #5 continuing in post #10 and post #19.

You insinuate that I'm painting ethnic groups with broad brushes. Reread #19. I specifically did not.

Your book doesn't matter. Look how incorrect it was in post #10.

The terrorists were being religious and true to Islam, not only according to them, also to the Koran, and to many tens of millions of Moslems around the world.

Jesus said: "By their fruits shall you know them."

The fruits of Islam are all around us.

If you don't want to deal with the reality, fine. But quit insulting those who are finally facing the facts. We have a jihad to defeat.

Well the polls (Gallup for example) indicate that 80% of the people in Pakistan support Bin Laden. The deafening silence of the Muslim clerics about 9-11 offer no rebuttal to the extremeism of Bin Laden. THe newspapers are full of hate for America and for the death of Americans.

What conclusion would rational people draw from this?

Not all Muslims support murder and rape, a majority of them do.

You actually believe polls? Polls can be made to say anything the people taking them want them to say. If you believed polls in this country, Al Gore be President.

If 80% of the Paks really supported the Taliban, they would have overthrown their government by now and bin Laden would have his hands on those nukes.

Afor for Pak papers.. I worry about what they say as much as I worry bout the editorial page of the Washington Post. Both are crap only expressing the views of the journalists.

As for the last line of your post .... if you truly believe that, you have my sincere sympathy and I will pray God knows its only cause your upset.

Turkey is a Muslim country

Wrong answer tovarishch. Ever hear of Kamal Ataturk? Turkey is a secular country by law, where most of the citizens are moslems. There is a BIG difference between that and a "Muslim country".

Sadly, your book didn't matter a bit to Atta and company. The only book (other than flying manuals) that they ever read was the koran, which they had memorized by rote. The last words from their mouths as they flew into occupied buildings, killing thousands, was "ALLAH AKBAR!!"

"Your book" won't stop the next moslem mass murder, but the murderers are reading and "gaining insporation" from the koran even as we type to each other.

Their book matters a lot. It is a manual for mass murder for a great % of the moslems in the world in the year 2001.

"After reading your last post, what can I say. You win.. its true your a insanely blind racist with a paintbrush. Make sure none of that paint splashes on you."

You started out with a smear, bad facts, and an illogical argument.

I debunked your smear, disproved your facts, and dismantled your argument. You were unable to address any of this. Never a direct response any of the points I raised.

Now, you simply return to the smear: "racist."

I'd call getting you to drop two of the three faulty legs of your position definite progress.

ps. Bonus points to you if you can guess whether or not my daughter is of the same ethnicity as the one you accuse me of being racist for.

It is disquieting. It's been a long while since I looked at the Koran, but the passages calling for outright extermination of the infidel are surely unique.

Plenty of pagans were killed in the OT, but I don't recall God ever specifically demanding that the Jews kill all who didn't believe in the God of Israel.

But claiming that ALL Middle Eastern types are evil, ALL Muslims are our enemy is just plain stupidity. Its equivalent to saying ALL Germans during WWII were Nazis or all Russians were Communists!

No, it's like saying that all Nazis are Nazis. The race isn't our enemy, whether it be Arabs or Germans. But the ideology is our enemy, whether it be Naziism, Communism, or Islam.
