Islamist Threat

The entire civilized West is under assault by a group of barbaric and radical fundamentalists. Sound extreme? Fantastic? Unbelievable in this, the 21st Century?
Remember 911, when thousands, perhaps millions, of Muslims worldwide joyously celebrated the televised murder of completely innocent people. How can this be, when we are told that Islam is a religion of peace? Why is it that Muslims, even American Muslims, are so noticeably muted in their condemnation of the terrorist attacks? Why are so many radical clerics asked to speak at American mosques, spewing venomous anti-Semitism and anti-Americanism right from the pulpit? How can this be, if Islam is a religion of peace?
In Australia, charges are pending against 18 Lebanese men, who stand accused of 360 offenses against Australian women. The women were all gang-raped, with the men often using their cell phones to call their buddies over to join in the fun. One 18-year old woman testified that she had been brutalized over a period of six hours by 15 different men. One of her attackers later testified that he was "unfamiliar" with Australian law and that he therefore "didn’t know" that he was perpetrating a crime by making the victim perform oral sex on him four times, and raping her once. How can this be, if Islam is a religion of peace?
Panicked, the PC police in Australia insisted that racism was not behind the crimes, despite the fact that one girl testified that the man who raped her told her she "deserved it, because she was an Australian." Sydney’s Muslim leader, Sheik Taj el Din Hilaly, further fanned the flames by insisting that it was not the men’s ethnicity or religion that was to blame, but instead that their crimes were "products of Australian culture."
The crime of gang-rape by Arab men is not new. In Denmark, 7 youths are on trial for gang-raping a 14 year old girl. In France, 11 men are on trial for gang-raping another 14 year old girl. The French even have a name for this particular crime, "tournante" or "wait your turn". How can this be, if Islam is a religion of peace?
Today, Abduman Al Turkey, spokesman for the Mecca based World League, demanded that the United Nations refrain from doing anything that might prove offensive to Islam. He further warned that the West should quit connecting Islam with terrorism. Al Turkey was not specific on how the West should do that, however, since most recent acts of terror have been committed by Middle Eastern Muslim men.
Also today, World Net Daily is reporting that 14 Algerians have come to the United States and have immediately enrolled in flight training schools. They follow closely on the heels of 14 Syrian nationals who flew to the U.S. on October 16, also promptly enrolling in flight training schools. One of the flight schools is owned by a man named Khalid Miloud.
In the meantime, one of Osama bin Laden’s main henchmen has publicly vowed to hit the U.S. with another "storm of planes."
Perhaps we wouldn’t be so worried, if we could just be convinced that Islam really is the peaceful religion they keep telling us it is. ***

Can you tell me why from the Philippines to Nigeria to New York moslems are murdering non-moslem civilians wholesale?
But claiming that ALL Middle Eastern types are evil, ALL Muslims are our enemy is just plain stupidity. Its equivalent to saying ALL Germans during WWII were Nazis or all Russians were Communists! This story wants to say that all Muslims are gang rapists, like there aren't gang rapists in other ehtnic groups? anywhere else? Please give me a break!!

I agree that there must be some moderate and peaceful Muslims that denounce these terrorist attacks - but I haven't been able to document too many of them, in America or anywhere else.
Instead, what repeatedly pops up is that mullahs around the world are engaging in anti-American and anti-Semitic rhetoric; boys are trained from childhood to be suicide bombers in countless schools, and the Koran sure has a lot of scary passages in it.
Check around the web. It's pretty scary when Muslim students in America (some second and third generation) say that they would not fight for their country and that they don't consider themselves Americans.
Ask yourself this one question ? Have you seen any Muslim speak out for the US against Terrorist Publicly that u can site???
Well, lets see, Turkey is a Muslim country and they are sending troops to fight against the Taliban .... The President of India ... he has spoken against it. There have been Muslims in this country as well who have spoken out against it. How many sources do you need?
This is true, and the definition should be made between the fanatical Islamists who want to dominate the world and impose Muslim rule on it, and the more moderate, more democratic (dare we say Western) countries like Turkey.

Check out any college campus in the US. Remember all the cowards who flocked to Canada during the Vietnam War? So I ask, where is the difference?
Those aren't REAL Muslims. The ones practicing clitoredectomy and infibulation on 6 year old girls aren't practicing the Real Islam, and Islam does not promote the murder of non-Muslims, therefore most of the Muslims in Africa aren't Real Muslims. And since they are doing the same thing in Indonesia, they aren't Real Muslims either. And the oppression of women in Afghanistan and Saudi and Iraq and Iran and Palestinian areas are not acting in accordance with Real Islam either, so they aren't Real Muslims. And the ones murdering Buddhists in India and Pakistan aren't Real Muslims either. And the Nation of Islam in the US preaching death to the Blue-Eyed Devils aren't Real Muslims.
The Real Islam and the Real Muslims are lovely, peaceful people, and they live in the North west corner of Ankara (sp?) Turkey. There are only 14 or 15 of them, but I understand they are just the nicest folks you ever did see.

Almost everything you've said here is wrong...
1. Turkey is a secular nation with a Moslem population.
2. India is not a Moslem country, it's mainly Hindu.
3. There have been precious few Moslems in this country who have spoken unequivocally against the attacks on 9/11. There are always equivocations about America or Zionists, and louder complainst that they are viewed suspiciously than there are about those who butcher civilians in the name of their religion.
4. I need more sources than you provide. A lot more.
I'm happy to give you a break. Your equations are not analogous. Let me correct them for you...
Nazism is to Germans,
Is as Communism is to Russians,
Is as Islam is to Arabs and others who've fallen under its sway.
It is brutal and oppressive everywhere it's tried.
And like Nazism and Communism, Islam has plenty of apologists here, who claim the the evil excesses don't represent the pure form of the doctrine.
Not all Nazis were murderers, not all Communists were murderers, and not all Moslems are murderers.
So what?

By all rights, every person working in the capital should be dead. The amount of anthrax found in the letter found in democrat senator Daschle's office contained enough anthrax to infect and kill two million people. It was only by God's grace that it was found and those infected treated before it, the anthrax, had the opportunity to do it's intended deed.
What about you? What if the next terrorist attack kills you? What if you are killed in the stampede to escape the next attack? Or what if you just die from natural causes? Will you be greeted by the Lord with a smile and a greeting? Or will He condemn you to spending eternity in the lake of fire, after groveling before the Lord and His saints and apologizing for being so stupid?
