The 22 mag is a great weapon. I had a clymer sic four pit bulls on me. As they tried to swim over a small river/large stream. One shot/dog at about 30 yards, shattered their spines, and that was it! I used standard 22 mag hollow points with my old Ruger 22 mag. Any coyote hit in a vital area with a 22 mag hollow point is or will be part of the food chain!

The Taurus 22 mag Titanium would be a great and light weight weapon with minimal problems from rain and moisture!

I have the Ruger 357 with the 6 inch barrel, and it is too heavy to lug around all day! It is an awesome weapon but is too heavy to lug around all day. I will probably go to the Taurus 22 mag Titanium for my fly fishing ventures into the back country!
