In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....
The enemy has been engaged, and Hitlery got boooooed and we brought out the Daisy Cutters! As we continue our battle, remember why we are fighting. The Eagle is awake and demanding retribution. As our President said, We will not negotiate!. We will not forget. Please keep those that we have lost, and those who will fight for us, in your prayers. Also too, remember we seem to be the most hated people on the planet, so dont relax your guard

Did you mean "bored" games?
I think W is over at hillary.org. I don't know his screen name, though. That seems to be a popular spot lately. LOL!

Down here in the great void we had about 2 inches yesterday, but you are hard pressed to find any now. It is supposed to approach 60 after being down to about 15 last night. That is temperature not wind speed.

Sorry, Slip. To all: you probably want to avoid the articles linked to that article (linked here in reply # 41) which describe more specifics on how some of these kids have been mistreated. Just another warning.

Mornin', y'all.
Some of you may recognize my screen name, since I occasionally drop in on the class to participate.
You may know that LoanPalm is on vacation with his family.
They stopped for the night in Rocky Mount, NC, on their way to Florida.
He had asked me by Freepmail to join them for breakfast at Denny's on Wednesday morning.
Since I was off work that day anyway, I said yes.
I got to meet Loan Palm, Mrs. Palm, and his three "fronds".
LoanPalm is originally from NC, but now lives in NJ. We had a great time together discussing FR & politics.
I got the impression that he pesters Mrs. Palm with stories about Free Republic about as much as I pester Mrs. Constitution Day!
Anyway, I took my digital camera & got a picture of the two of us together.
Should you want to see what two refined, handsome & erudite Freepers look like, go to my profile page. ;~b
LoanPalm & I certainly had a Denny's duopoly on Wednesday morning!
FRegards,
CD
