New Principles, New Rules

As the US murder of unarmed and distressed Afghans continues and intensifies each day, the simultaneous murder of values and universally accepted fundamental human principles is taking place on such a wide scale that if the world leaders still choose not to remove the blindfold of American influence from their eyes the whole world will turn into a perpetual inferno of violence and chaos.

The fact is US has created such monstrous precedents in her war hysteria that if the present state of affairs were to prolong, there could only be rule of arms and violence on the surface of the earth and the notion of peace and stability will vanish from this world.

As a sequel to the tragic incident of September 11th the brand new set of principles in human, moral and international values that the rulers of the United States have given to the world need to be looked into. Let us take a look at some of them...

The Islamic terrorists murdered thousands of people who came from all over the world but primarily were Americans, in one day of terror, 9/11, and possibly anthrax bio-terrorism following that and yet WE are the murderers of innocents?

Apparently, for their act of war they expected criminal law to be used and are trying to make the argument for criminal law to apply to their terrorism in this article.

The way I look at it is that they threw down the gauntlet and we picked it up. They thought we were weak but found instead that we are strong and we will fight all of them, if necessary, until we thoroughly defeat them.

Another area that needs to be addressed is their accusation that we are attacking poor, unarmed Afghanis. We are attacking their Taliban, Al Queda, and ex-pat Arab soldiers now, after taking out their air force, communications and infrastructure. The innocent, unarmed Afghanis had their chance to leave before the bombs dropped but apparently some didn't wish to leave and it's not our fault that the Taliban, like their palestinian brothers, use innocent men, women and children as human shields.

I feel for the innocents that are caught in the middle of this. This has happened in every war since time began. The people of any country though are directly responsible for the actions of their government and in that way are not entirely innocent.

The people of Afghanistan allowed a character like Osama Bin Laden to use their country as a refuge so they bear a collective guilt for letting this happen. This should be a lesson for apathetic citizens in this country who refuse to get involved in our political process.
