all Chelsea has done is have the misfortune to be descended from them. Not so. She was heavily involved in Hillary's Senate campaign, at which point she became a legitimate target for comments, as far as I'm concerned.

." Maybe now she knows how all those young GI's in the middle of rice paddies felt, while her daddy was at Oxford smoking dope and leading anti-american and anti-war protests...What goes around comes around!! Great post - I was just a kid then but I remember how our soldiers were treated by the leftist scum like clinton.

Her old man didn't seem to mind traveling through europe when he was draft dodging and protesting the Vietnam War. Good Riddance!!

Up until this article I kind of gave Chelsea a pass, but not anymore. She is a self-absorbed leftist idiot like her parents. She probably won't even realize what a phony life she's lead until she is 80 or so and then the realization will be crushing.

Well, she could always do what her daddy did -- get out in front and organize the anti-American rallies!

"Over the summer I thought that I would seek out non-Americans as friends, just for diversity's sake. Quotas? She picks her friends on quotas?

Read the threads from yesterday about her Talk Magazine article. She is a ditz. And has NO clue about anything.
Her FIRST thoughts when she saw the WTC attack? She wondered if Bush's tax cut would leave enough money to fix up NYC.

I'm really beginning to miss the old days when Mom and Dad kept this kid well away from the press.

Over the summer I thought that I would seek out non-Americans as friends, just for diversity's sake. Now I find that I want to be around Americans -- people who I know are thinking about our country as much as I am." The 21-year-old daughter of former U.S. President Bill Clinton and senator Hillary, said questions about whether Osama bin Laden was behind the attacks, and scepticism over America's humanitarian commitment to Afghanistan, made her "bristle."
"The idea that anyone believes America would enter into this capriciously boggles my mind, and the notion that the United States is acting without regard to the Afghan people is offensive."
Yes, this is the average vocabulary for a 21 year old girl. I often wake up and think " In need to make friends from different cultures, you know, for diversity's sake, but I don't want to enter into it capriciously, I might end up bristled."

Did he flunk out? I had heard that he had raped a student, she reported it to the school and the school wouldn't let him come back. I sure would like to know which is correct. Any source to confirm would be nice. Thanks.

Being from Oxford I can assure that she will be made to feel that she cannot expect any preferential treatment because of her background. Perhaps, she is getting a little hard done by at the moment: what she should do is to take it on the chin and NEVER whine. But then....

Chelsea is RUNNING for her next office NOW.....
Can't you see it? She's HIDING behind your sentiments that "want" her to be as pure and "holy" as as an innocent child of bad parents....SHE'S playing you (and the media) like Kennedy Jr did.
These film clips, these quotes, these interviews, these CNN reports, These self-serving (lying) "magazine articles"-repeated-as-news-in-news-stories (what - We've seen this Talk magazine article now 5-6 times IN OTHER news stories!) ARE her way of staying in power.
She's running for office - like her sterile "dad" did - by using her White House stay for photo ops.
Bill ran for president in '92 using his deliberate photo with JFK as a centerpiece ... and people remembered.
And Chelsea remembers.

During the two years I studied at Oxford ('72-'74), I cannot say that the students seemd particularly anti-American to me. Quite the contrary, in fact. I had a grand time, partly because the students were quite friendly.

In Oxford, you get taken the p*ss out off wherever you are from. You'll find guys from Lancashire and Yorkshire calling each other the most awful names. All this is part of the game. The moment a person interprets this as anti-Americanism or anti-Anything-ism he or she has lost the plot and made a fool of him- or herself. As I said, never WHINE and never give up your position. Then you will have made friends pretty soon. When I recently returned from abroad an English friend of mine welcomed me home. Home being Oxford. It is kind of him, of course, but the way the friendship works is that I grumble and I say: I have only one home; yours is just an adopted one. And then we have a beer.

Chelsea: Oxford life difficult Boo-frickin-hoo. We all need another poor little rich kid story.

Didnt Shellsee register for pre-med at Stanford to become a pediactric brain surgeon? I'm sure her future bio will say so!
To: mombonn
Poor Chelsea in a way though, she's been raised by those two America-hating criminals, she's not nearly as bad as Bill who would gladly join in any anti-American protests and would be promoting America-hate himself. Really Chelsea seems to at least have a shred of decency in her and anti-Americanism seems to bother her in some way. Considering how she was raised, it surprises me she's not doing as much America bashing as she can now.
