I'm bettinng it was based on the old Suzanne Gunsgurger method of divination: " this voter voted the democratic ticket so he must have voted for Gore." Both parties have been trying for aeons to get people to vote the party line and rarely have they succeeded. So this logic is wishful at best

Now of course, there are also instances when the voter selects the candidate by punching a chad and then writes in the candidate's name. That too, is considered an overvote. Seems to me this kind of overvoting is a great way to be mischievous.

Big Media screwed up by just counting the illegal ballots.

It would've been all GORE if they had included the Florida prison population and illegal alien estimates,

Translation: The outcome was biased and pre-determined before the review began and the nation's main media are of course known for their great accuracy and objectivity. How dare we doubt their motives!!!

Having established great credibility for excellence in areas of counting and reviewing outcomes, the "nation's main media" should be immediately sent to the Taliban front lines so they might personally and of course, accurately conduct a body-by-body review of those enemy being Daisy Cuttered. That is the "count" that this country is truly interested in.
