You're welcome!
This new information on the GMA interview is very interesting. I wonder if the doctor is thinking he might have picked up the anthrax from a regular patient? I wonder what he was treating them for - it appears he practices internal medicine as well as cardiology.

I wouldn't be at all surprised that Al Gore is behind these anthrax attacks.

There supposedly was an Arkansas trooper (named Welch or something similar) who died from weaponized anthrax back in the 90's when the Clintons were in power. This trooper unfortunately was assigned to investigate Clinton and his dirty deeds.

I'm rethinking some things, and you guys, if anyone can answer them.
With the anthrax letters, and the spores, would the letter opener notice the germs? Must they appear as a "powder?" Grains? Anything visible or sensible by touch?
Did any letter opener mention this? We have the possible J-Lo package, and the powder among it, but this powder could have leaked from the soap packet in the package. Some report the powder being "soapy." (That doesn't preclude anthrax also being among the items)
Could this first AMI report have spun peoples' assumptions about a noticeable powder? Has an report of an actual anthrax letter mention a powder? (I don't see it on the FBI site, anywhere, for one.)

Has an report of an actual anthrax letter mention a powder? Wasn't the Leahy letter chock full of powder?

http://www.ph.ucla.edu/epi/bioter/leahylettercontents.html "...The Leahy letter, which was discovered by investigators before it was opened, contained a small mound of fine white powder, giving scientists their first chance to test and examine a substantial quantity of what they believe are highly virulent anthrax spores. FBI officials said testing on the material to try to determine where it was produced will likely take weeks..."
You're right. I guess the "small mound" was felt before it was opened?
The pics at the FBI site show no (visible) powder, just the letter held in a glove box, and not anything else that might have been in the letter.

New Jersey physician tests negative for anthrax
Further testing has found that a New Jersey physician did not contract skin anthrax, state health officials said.
A blood sample from Dr. Gerald M. Weisfogel was sent to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention after he called a state hot line and said he had developed a suspicious skin lesion in early September - before the first-known anthrax-laced letters were mailed.
The blood test, though, did not find any antibodies showing that the cardiologist had been infected with anthrax, officials said Thursday.
Weisfogel, who could not be reached for comment, said he thought his skin lesion was a spider bite and treated himself with antibiotics. He only asked to be tested for anthrax at the urging of a relative.
New Jersey has had seven confirmed or suspected anthrax cases, including six postal workers and an accountant who works near the Hamilton mail processing facility. All have since recovered.
