Seen any strange or funny websites lately? (VANITY)
self | self

Okay, this is a shameless vanity, but let me explain. One of my favorite hobbies is collecting strange, offbeat, quirky, weird, funny, or otherwise oddball websites and locales on the internet. So, where better to ask about that sort of thing than the home of the quirky - FreeRepublic ;)

So, with that in mind, I'm asking everyone to kick in with their favorite offbeat or weird site. Anything that makes you laugh, chuckle, or just go "hmmm" is fine. And to get everyone started, and in the spirit of sharing, below is a list of a few that I have in my collection - many of which you've probably seen before, but maybe there's some new ones for you. So let's have 'em!

(The ones marked with an asterisk (*) have or could have some adult content or language - fair warning, folks)

The Flummery Digest - exposing political correctness around the world
Mr. Cranky Rates the Movies*
UNIX HUMOR
Infrequently Asked Questions - a little of everything ;)
The Onion*
Glubco - don't try this at home, folks
Aluminum Foil Deflector Beanie Homepage
NEWS of the WEIRD - pretty self-descriptive
For Sale By Mental Patient - just what it sounds like...
SatireWire* - press releases...sort of
Japanese Engrish
The Postmodernism Generator
Peter's Evil Overlord List
Something Awful* - news, reviews, and more, all with a nasty streak ;)
We never landed on the moon!
BSNN.net*
Bonsai Kitten* - okay, there's nothing really bad, but if you have sensitive kids...
Scott Pakin's automatic complaint-letter generator
The Darwin Awards
Daryl Cagle's Professional Cartoonists Index! - editorial cartoons from around the world
Oldmanmurray* - the dark side of computer gaming
Clay's Oddities Wav Page* - a small collection of odd .wav files
Disturbing Search Requests* - definitely not for kids...your neighbors are searching for some weird stuff, folks
The Institute of Good Cheer - an internet classic

You're right! That's a classic. I think I met that guy at a Survivor concert.

The only site that is funnier than Mulletsgalore.com, I won't mention by name, ( involves the hump-beasted foot ).
