I has a steel Cross ink pen I could ram right through your heart.. no problem there.. But Nail Clippers? Sorry, you can't travel with those.

You can also sharpen the edge of a credit card enough that it will slice someone's throat. A bar of bath soap inside a sock can fracture a skull. The handle of a toothbrush can be sharpened to a point that will go through soft tissue as good as a stiletto. An Afro rake comb is a potent weapon especially if you take the time to sharpen the teeth slightly. None of theses will show up on a search by some dolt who can't even get through highschool.

As long as the airlines refuse to arm the pilots, and as long as the government refuses to abide by the Second Amendment, it is prudent to find covert ways of arming yourself if you must fly. It is best to not fly until at least the pilots are armed. However, sometimes it is unavoidable. On those occasions you owe it to yourself and your family to arm yourself as best you can before entering a situation where you are an easy target.

Yes. You have got it right. Could anyone deny that some of the last words spoken by the good souls on the philadelphia flight were: "Please, Does anyone here have anything We can use as a weapon?". Think about it.
