When it's something this guy wants, it's called "popular opinion". When it's something he doesn't want, it's called "the power of the mob". A few days later, I bumped into a neighbor of mine whom I had seen at the meeting shaking his head in horror. I asked him what he made of it all.

Hi, yes, this particular story is true, and many different articles were posted on FR concerning the Madison Wisconsin "meeting." Americans are only awake temporarily, and only on the surface. There are many things they have no clue about. Such as this. I've often wondered how many flag-waving patriotic Americans there are out there that don't have a clue about the Constitution. It reminds me of the story a pastor told me many, many years ago about the guy who was always waving his Bible around, right into Hell, if you know what I mean.

Americans could stop it tomorrow. They won't. They love the planks of socialism/communism. They've proven it to me a thousand times over. The parents actually get excited when little Cindy brings home a picture she colored of the savaged Amazon rainforest. They give her little candies and plant a tree in the back yard, and, when appropriate, celebrate, Earth Day Ira Einhorn was the chief planner of Earth Day. I'm not kidding.

It shouldn't surprise us that the government runs our schools. The government runs most Americans with little trouble.

Still another described the city as "The People's Republic of Madison," and called the board members a bunch of "arrogant, elitist, heavy-handed, radical leftovers of the Vietnam era, who in your great zeal to protect the minority have stifled the expression of the majority."
