Some guys here and elsewhere have listed the many multicultural serial killers...from Ramirez, the Pakistani chemist who murdered 168 children or so, et. al. There are a lot of them! But one thing for sure-- you won't find me whining to high heaven through the corts, the schools,on TV,in the newspapers, and from every branch of local, state and federal gov't. and their unions if it turns out white men are the number 1 mass murderers. I'll accept facts as facts.

Go to http://www.crimelibrary.com and you will see how many white male serial killers there are.

You're trying to make the point about criminals being disproportionately committed by minorities, but they're also disproportionately committed by men! Yet I don't see you in a tizzy about that.

Here's an illustration. I was talking to a 7th grader, who has been here w/ her family from Mexico for 2 years. I asked her how things were going in school. She said "okay...it's all review for me".

They like to say their schools in Mexico are superior but the Mexican hispanics have a 38% drop out rate even with classes given in Spanish and on the border, you see them coming over every day with carloads of kids who attend US schools which they obviously wouldn't do if they had better schools. Mexico wouldn't be in the shape it's in if it had good schools.

If you aren't a mexican (and I think you are) you wouldn't understand what is going on until you are fighting mexicans in your own backyard. Unlike past immigrants these ones have told anyone who wants to listen that their objective is to invaded and conquer through illegal immigration large chucks of America's southwest territories. Only the naive fail to appreciate the gravity of this ongoing crisis. Ever wonder why most mexican's don't want to learn English like every other ethnic people that have come to our shores?

There is a big difference, The Irish, and European Catholics immigrated legally, a large percentage of the Mexicans immigrating now are immigrating illegally.

Hispanics aren't some monolithic, cultural equivalent of the Borg coming to America to "out-reproduce" you and live on welfare.

I guess they'd make a better impression, if people didn't see the housing projects crowded with people from Mexico and so many using food stamps who can't speak a word in English, you can go to a grocery store in this town and be the only person using cash. In counties along the border, you see over a third of the population living on some sort of welfare, so it's easy to get the impression many are coming to get in on the freebies, with a drop out rate of almost 40%, it doesn't appear many are here to better their lives at all.

Hispanics aren't a monolith though, the US born English speaking have a higher rate of military service and patriotism than most other groups, and many are legal immigrants who chose to obey the laws in this country and are willing to learn English and work hard. But you can go into the projects around here and find plenty flying the Mexican flag and refusing to learn English or do much of anything with themselves.

As one "hispanic" to another, I have been reading your posts with amusement and you seem to somewhat detached of the reality. I live in a heavily hispanic area in NY and speak quite often to people here, many which are "illegals". The reality is that the vast majority do not see themselves as immigrants who are stuck here permanently. There is also another group (many born here) which insists on mantaining a separate existence in both language and culture and have no intention of assimilating into what they derogatorily refer to as the Anglo culture. As a matter of course many of them hold radical left wing ideas and think Fidel Castro is the greatest thing since the wheel.

I have gotten into arguments many a time over this attitude. To cite just one case where Domincans on my block flew their flag during Dominican holidays and yet refuse to fly the Stars and Stripes on July 4. In another case I overheard a conversation among some Mexicans in a bodega deriding this country and government. These occurences I run into almost every day, even after 911. These people are here to establish "Colonias", they are willing to take our money and live here, but if they had their way they would set up separate nations and states. Because I speak Spanish, these people will tell me things they would never tell an "anglo".

I have seen the same phenomenon and attitude among Middle Easterners.

As I have stated previously on another thread as well as this one. Most immigrants today have no intention of assimilating or integrating into the general society or of becoming Americans. Indeed many of these people have particularly anti-american attitudes. As far as they are concerned if things don't go well they are just one cheap airplane ticket back home. They have the easy option of returning back home. The immigrants of a century ago had no such options. Theirs was a one way trip ticket and they knew by coming here there was no turning back. They came here to stay and to become Americans. That in the end is the significant difference.

They also did not have a political establishment that pandered to them by establishing a separate language educational system to perpetuate the separatness. The Balkanization of this country is the direct consequence of the "multiculturalist" policies promoted by the Democrats in search of a voter base and the corporate Republicans in search of cheap labor and profits.

That is the reality we face.

Being an immigrant I am not naturaly oppsed to immigration. However, I am opposed to immigration if the only purpose of the immigrants is to come here and colonize this country without having any intention of assimilatiing and becoming Americans both culutraly and linguistically. If they come here just to suck on the big US tit without contributing to the country then it's not worth having them here.

The immigrant who on the day of citizenship proudly calls himself an "American" WITH the "intention of assimilating and becoming American both culturally and linguistically" is all we can ask. THAT is the legacy of an "American."
