What did Mancow say?

This morning Fox and Friends were in a titter over something that Mancow said. They apologized several times, and read several emails they received complaining. What did he do?

He used God's name in vain. Steve, E.D. and Brian were pretty mortified.

He was talking about the Salvation Army but I didn't catch the context of why he used the word - but it was "G-D-----".

He said G** D*** in reference to GLADD dropping fake $5's into the Salvation Army buckets to protest the Salvation Army's so called treatment to same sex partner benefits.

Yeah, Mancow's thing was always that he is saying G*tt D*mn instead of G*d D*mn, which is probably what he's saying on his show right now to defend himself. Not sure though, haven't seen him on Fox & Friends lately and haven't heard his radio show either in awhile.

The Fox crew told him about the gays dropping fake $5.00 bills with protest messages written on them into the kettles.

He said" Do you know what you have done? I had a friend (brother??) that would have died without the SA. I am getting GD tired of everything decent being attacked in America!" Then he proceeded with another rant.

The look of the crew was of utter disbelief! I told my wife what I had just heard, and she had the same shocked look on her face.

All in all a pretty gd good rant if I must say

I have to say that is the exact repsonse I feel most of the time when hearing about how far fringe groups go in order to lower the rest of the country's standards to theirs!!

Me too! Every pervert wants everyone else to join the "fun". That way no one can make any moral judgments.

They know they are wrong, but it feels good. So don't let me (gayslesbos) feel guilt because of the way I(gaylesbos) choose to have orgasms. You change how you feel about my (gay) orgasms!

Because the reporters might have a conflict in interest?

He said "G--D---"!  I can't believe Howard Stern still kicks my sorry rear end and Ron and Fez will take the morning drive slot on WNEW and not me!

Let me see if I get this right, an Ultra left wing extremist group takes it upon themselves to take from the needy and people get more upset that someone said GD!

It is true that GD could have been ommitted. But D*** it, sometimes this may be the only response!

Yep, the news bimbos would have to make a moral distinction if they bashed the gaybos and not a white guy with a blue mouth.

Money collected in the red kettles stays in the community. What they are doing is nothing less than hurting someone they may know, someone who truly needs help. They are not hurting the Salvation Army. They are hurting their neighbor.

I don't care if he said "Godamnit." God should damn that behavior. I watch Fox & Friends for Mancow anyway. This isn't the first time he's got in trouble on that show. A couple months ago (pre-911) he disappeared from fox & friends for a week. does anyone know what he did?

I will NEVER forget the time when Mancow was on New York City radio, for one day. It was back in 1996 when WYNY 103.5 dumped country and was about to relaunch the late lamented WKTU on that frequency. But in the few days between dumping country and switching to dance, the owners (Evergreen, at the time) had to play the gimmick game, running a different satellite feed of another Evergreen station from around the country, each with a different format, every day for (I think) a week. It was actually kind of fun to hear how different LA radio was to our uniquely-NYC ears for a day, and so on. But the morning Mancow's station came on, it turned out that he'd actually COME to NYC, and spent his entire show driving around Manhattan in a van, triumphantly announcing his **permanent** arrival on the New York City radio scene, all the while vilely insulting every single NYC resident he came in contact with, and insterspersing that with continual replays of the Denis Leary song "I'm an *ssh*le!" which he seemed to be singing along with, except he was screeching "YOU'RE an *ssh*le!" while pointing at various Manhattanites that passed by. (And note that, up to that point, the world "*ssh*le" had not yet really been allowed to be said on NYC radio stations. I don't know what he got away with in Chi-town, but that was still a no-no in New York. (Though after he did it, everyone else in town quickly took advantage of the precedence that was set.) Oh, yes, he always interspersed those two schticks with continual putdowns of Howard Stern, and how Mancow was now poised to dethrone the King of All Media.

It was without a doubt the single most obnoxious three or four hours or radio I have EVER heard in my life before or since. People were actually talking about what a disastrous, way WAY over-the-line performance it was.

And needless to say, the next day he was gone, replaced with the next unknown Evergreen station simulcast. He has never been heard on NYC radio since. And to this day, I can just barely tolerate his shenanigans on Fox & Friends, and often do end up flipping the channel, because every time I see him, I remember what a First Class Jerkoff he was that day.

No wonder Stern calls him Girlcow. He'll never be a threat as long as he keeps up that routine.

but didn't Stern do the same thing to IMUS? I remember that when Imus was really sick, Stern said, "I hope he dies." Nice talk.

Stern isn't shocking or good anymore. There was a point where he would knock me to the floor with just the random stuff he'd say. Sadly, that day has long gone. I would rather listen to mancow talk (not play music) than stern any day.
