Worhip the Creator, not the created.

I know how your inquisition works, we've done this lots of times before. I won't play your game. I'll default to what the bible says every time. Your Jesus is as different from the bible Jesus as Your Mary is from the bible Mary. Your Jesus only exists to glorify your Mary. Since we are never talking about the same Jesus and Mary I can never agree with what you say.

Yes it is interesting, another interesting point, Mickael (?) Gorbachev announced the end of the Soviet Union on Dec. 8th (cant remember which year) the feast of the Immaculate Conception.

Suffice it to say that you are the one in error. Good day.

Mary and Joseph were married, they had sex. Maybe even while she was pregnant with Jesus. Sex, is not a sin, it is as natural as a back rub, or a foot massage. Although putting a human being on a pedestal is, whether they are alive or dead. In the bible, when angels were portrayed as communicating with people, the people invariably fell to their knees. They were commanded to rise up, as they were not to be worshipped. We are commanded to bend a knee to God the father, and his son, no one else. When the Hebrews were caught worshipping the Golden Calf in the wilderness, they proclaimed, "this is just a representation of God to us". That is why people get worked up about this kind of post.

Yes, happy feast day!
Although I was hoping people reading the post would look at the image and read about it for themselves (I'm sure some did) instead of the bickering.
sigh
Being that we're Mary's children I cant help but think she's looking at us like I sometimes look at my bickering children.
Like we all need a good whap upside the head LOL.
Oh well.

Oh! I almost fogot! There was a story in the paper today which included a website. I didnt get much time to look at the site but its from the Basillica in Mexico apparently. Dont know if they have an english translation either because it was all in spanish, but it did have some good pictures.

Mary and Joseph were married, they had sex. Maybe even while she was pregnant with Jesus. How sad that this lowly Catholic knows more about the Bible than you. From the original Bible of the Apostles, the KJV, Matt 1:25
And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.
Regardless of the definition of "till" you ascribe to, there is no way Joseph and Mary had sex while she was pregnant.

We'll have to do this again some time. Good day.

Mary and Joseph were married, they had sex. Maybe even while she was pregnant with Jesus. Wow! Your bible sure is different than mine...
To: jeremiah
I don't think God would have appointed a 'just man' to protect His Son and mother, a man who could only think about sex.
I could not imagine such a thing as you have posted, knowing that my wife was carrying the Christ child. Not during or after or ever.
There are still many people today who have consecrated their virginity to God.
I believe what you posted was wicked and perverse. A shining example of the way our society has degraded to the point that it has.
To: SoothingDave
He knew her not? Or he knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son. From the scriptures the perpetual virginity of Mary is spiked. I wonder if her second born was also a virgin birth? My comment was facetious about sex before the birth, but you have answered the question of the day because of it, Mary had other children.

A shining example of the way our society has degraded to the point that it has. Is it surprising that a society that gladly takes their grade school daughters to listen to Britney Spears moan suggestively can not conceive of people volutarily doing without sex?

LOL Another Scripture scholar. Let me get this straight. You are telling me, with a straight face, that the phrase "firstborn" means that there had to be more than one?
You might want to study the Old Testament and the peoples found within.

"Do not fear any illness or vexation, anxiety or pain. Am I not here who am your Mother? Are you not under my shadow and protection? Am I not your fountain of life? Are you not in the folds of my mantle? In the crossing of my arms? Is there anything else you need?" She then assured Juan that his uncle would not die from his illeness and at this very moment was cured. "WOW!!! She has so much power! Why did God bother to send Jesus. Mom of the Catholic Church has it all under control....
This is the biggest CROCK i've ever seen..

I wonder what moves someone like you to post something of that nature if you do not agree with what is said.
Thanks for your observations.
To: SoothingDave
Your right, the contraceptive society. I was over on the other post about the Pope calling for peace and Paletine getting their own state. What foul comments were posted. I thought to myself about a vision a saint had which said that at the end the Church would suffer the same sufferings that Jesus suffered, the agony in the garden, the scourging, crowning with thorns, carrying the cross. I thought to myself that we certainly seem to be carrying our cross, with people on the sidelines jeering and casting insults.
Tis a great time to be catholic eh? :-)

" Mark 6:3 3 Isn't this the carpenter? Isn't this Mary's son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon? Aren't his sisters here with us?" And they took offense at him. (NIV) "Please tell me why the author used two different greek words for brother and sister if, as the Catholics tell us, they weren't brothers or sisters but cousins?

What is a better way for the devil to have people think all this is kooky? Have people believe they are seeing something when in fact they are not. The devil as you are aware, is a "false coiner", a counterfiter. After and during every appartion that I've read about, satan tries to lure the people away with falsehood and his own trickery. Kind of like Slick Willie, smoke and mirrors to dispense with the truth. But it could never work the other way. Satan could not possibly be trying to lure people INTO these apparitions, right?
