Part of this is the fault of some Israelis: Rabin, Peres, and the rest of the leftist leaders and those who support them. They are the architects of the destruction; Netanyahu, Sharon, and the rightists who fail to do what must be done. To tell the truth about the leftists, civil war be damned; and, the religious leaders who fail to declare the truth about to whom Israel belongs and what needs to be done. There is a small minority of religious right-wingers who are blameless. Otherwise, the Israelis made their own bed together with those who seek their destruction. More than anything else, they are guilty of having no faith.

Excellent comment. Israeli's anger is being turned against their own government out of a deep sense of frusration. That's perfectly normal, and would happen here if we had a daily dose of 9/11.

These IDF charts show that the vast majority of attacks occur in occupied territories, the West Bank and Gaza, which are recognized by the IDF as distinct from the Israeli homefront. The best way to eliminate attacks is to end Israel's hostile occupation of those territories. Withdraw all Israeli soldiers and settlers from the West Bank and Gaza. After that, strengthen security at the border to stop suspected terrorists from entering Israel.

Looking at the graphs nearly all the attacks were against Israelis in the West Bank and Gaza since that territory should be under PA control why not move Israeli military and settlements back into Israel proper.

RBA thanks for posting this data. I believe that things have changed with GW re our policy towards the toleration of the Islamic Terrorists in Israel. Arafat has signed either his death warrant or at least a letter stating, "I have no power in the middle east. I'm just a figurehead, who gets world powers to condone the violence of terrorism. Terrorism of the vile Islamic groups who pay me a big salary to sway world opinion to condone Islamic terrorism against Israelis!"
