Once again, it reminds me of the rumor floated in Geneva at the convention of biologists, where it was said that the German branch of Greenpeace and some people with connections to clinton broke the story that the virus was mailed by a biologist who wanted to encourage a government contract for some sort of anti-anthrax product.
Now we see a clinton connection in this WSJ story, because clinton, anthrax, Admiral Crowe, and BioPort were all intertwined.
In fact, one of the results of the anthrax mailings is precisely what was predicted in Geneva: BioPort is right now supplying vaccine to some of the congressional aides, even though the paperwork hasn't been finished. If Gore had been elected, BioPort would have automatically had the inside track with these vaccine contracts, continuing from the clinton years. With Bush in charge, it wasn't so certain. But I imagine that Leahy and Daschle were probably involved in the whole clinton mess earlier, including the forced vaccinations of our troops and the putting of a stream of money into Admiral Crowe's pockets--and presumably those of his Democrat cronies.
I wish someone would investigate this story further, either an investigative reporter or our intelligence services. It's a scandal waiting to break, IMHO.
