America should take a stand and stand firm on the issues and causes that it believes are fundamentally righteous and are of importance to the people of America. If you think you can get away with the usual brain-dead "Israel is our only true friend and only democracy", you are wrong, or if you think you can declare the Arabs blood-thirsty untermenschen, the way the Nazis portrayed the Jews, then you are insulting my and other posters' intelligence.

No, actually I don't know that it's weak at all. And you aren't convincing me with your feeble attempts at mindreading either. The more a group strains to convey it's unity, pride, accomplishments or whatever, the more suspicious I get. Often, those suspicions are justified. Comes from living all my life in America.

Ah, and here it is. First, the argument you bring up - while I personally haven't used it on this forum - it is valid as one of *many* reasons why America should support Israel. Second, I apologize that I don't know German but I think I get your point. You seem to be mad because I called you down on some of your attempts at spreading distortions.
