Political correctness has become a scourge on the American landscape. Every day, some alert freeper posts at least one story whereby some individual or organization brazenly strips someones rights under the guise of "diversity", or alleged racism, or ersatz interpretation of the Constitution. Our universities, our state and federal bureauocracies,national news media and Hollywood have all surrendered in one way or another to this terrorism.

We have some of the best minds in the country posting here, so I thought what better place to find the "cure" than to solicit my fellow freepers. After all, it will be up to people like ourselves to stop this insideous onslaught of mind control.

First and formost we need to VOTE it out of office. Get my drift. We need to support those who will do what needs to be done whether Politically Correct or not. We people here on this WEB Page need to get more thinking people involved. I tell almost everyone that I have a conversation with during the day to go to FreeRepublic and start reading and I don't care what their political views are...............

I agree, but there are certain areas of the country which are more difficult to do this than others. California, for instance, has Boxer and Feinstein in power;two of the most vile Senators in America, but you are up against 3 things here, their incumbancy, illegal aliens all voting for them, and Spielberg, Eisner and their ilk cutting multi-million dollar checks to these clowns.Suggestions?

You can't be that much of a fatalist. If people like us capitulate, who will do the fighting...I for one give up when I become fertilizer.

2. Show the absurdity of it at every opportunity.

3. Call PC by it's real name, "Hate Speech", at every opportunity.

4. Vote the wannabe Slave Masters into oblivion.

Right-minded people need to respond with truth. Then, in the face of the inevitable onslaught of bad-egging and dead-catting, DO NOT CAVE!!!!!! Why, oh why, do so many people meekly go along when attacked by the PC commisars? If someone asked me, for example, to remove a Flag from a desk or door, my response would be, "Remove it yourself!"
Point is, carry the battle to your enemies! Question THEM. Make THEM explain why you are wrong. Make THEM explain THEIR positions. Call THEM on where THEIR support comes from. Shove the Constitution in THEIR faces. Believe me, nothing is as fun as seeing a liberal on the defensive. PC, confronted with TRUTH and LOGIC, cannot survive.

the easiest way to kill off the PC movemement is to vote me and my brother (neckbone) as co-Emperors of the Planet. When elected (or we seize power) the first thing we'll do is kill off the PC crowd. We'll then go drink a heroic amount of beer.

But it is those very ones who ARE productive which can make the most difference, and many would rather leave it to others. This is part of the problem...awake some sleeping, albeit financially productive conservatives.

You are obviously a fighter, like myself. I have found that if you stand up to these people, at least 90% back down or give it up. The problem is that too few are willing to take the chance, and this has got to stop!!

Not every bad thing is terrorism. We must be very, very careful to use this term only when a strict, objective set of criteria are met. If not, everyone and everything objectionable to someone risks being branded a "terrorist", with the resulting damage to reputation, loss of due process etc. Public debate will then turn to a witchhunt, as opponents demonize each other through namecalling.

Now onto your question: How to end Political Correctness?

My idea is to refuse to take part in it. Never use loaded politically correct terms. Refuse to work within the rigid set of guidelines PC dictates. PC is only as pervasive as the number of people who willingly submit to it.

Next, publicize all PC BS. Show the public bad examples of PC in action. Finding them won't be very difficult, but finding a forum willing to showcase them will. Mainstream newsmedia won't do it, so find or invent other venues.

Finally, come at it from a 1st Amendment angle. PC is the brainchild of liberals, and they claim (in words only, seldom in deed) to be ardent defenders of free speech. Use the same arguments they use, verbatim, to defend speech that they don't want banned.

Don't be part of it no matter what anyone says or thinks. I never have and don't give a damn what anyone thinks about it. If half the people don't hate my guts, I take a good look at myself wondering what i'm doing or saying wrong.
