It's a good read and very ambitious--WWWIII in detail. I'm surprised it's not been picked up by a major publishing house.

I got the book for Christmas from a Freeper. (I am a new Freeper myself). I haven't read it yet, but at first glance it looks to be a good read. Congratulations to you all!

Merry Christmas ... and hope you enjoy the read. I look forward to your comments.

I'm still trying to find the time to read Carry_Okie's book. It's really good but deep and takes time to digest.
To: ffrancone
Several are reviewing it over the holidays as a result of the work of the agent that picked it up.
We'll see what happens.
Either way, I am committed to trying to get it out to a large an audience as possible, either through a large publication house, or as best as I can on my own.
Best of the season to you and yours ... and thanks for the kind words.

Thank you and may the blessings you have sown return unto you 100 fold.
To: Jeff Head
First off, Jeff, I am going to order your book. Secondly, what got you started as a writer? Seems like such a daunting task.

Thank you for those kind words ... and may the same be true for you .... 100 fold ... even 1000 fold!

Can't really explain it too well.
I have been an engineer for many years and involved with quite a bit of DOD work earlier in my career ... more recently I have been really involved in current events and consulting with US firms setting up shop off shore.
It just sort of came to me and has been a very powerful and moving conviction to get a good read out there that sends a message about the foundational principles of our liberty and how they must be preserved ... even in the most austere and difficult of times.
So ... I responded to that feeling ... conviction ... urge ...whatever you want to call it and wrote that first book. To begin with it was only going to be one book, but as I got into it it became obvious that there had to be several or the thing was going to be 2000+ pages long LOL!
Anyhow, that's how it came about and then I spent many hours in the evenings while on consulting jobs writing, finally going after it full time in September.
To: Jeff Head
Seeing as how you're an engineer I'm amazed with you being able to write such a novel. Most of us engineers (I'm a civil engineer: geotech and environmental to be precise) don't have the best writing skills in the world..... I know I don't. I'm impressed!

We may be in trouble. Check out
this thread.

Jim has given me permission to announce and then occassionally update FR on the status of
Dragon's Fury - Breath of Fire.
This thread was posted by someone asking about the book and so I responded. I believe as long as the posts are occassional and informative and do not raise money for FR ... JR will allow them to continue.
I'm sure if it gets to be too much, he will quickly let us know.
Anyhow ... before I announced the book here on FR, I asked and received Jim's permission.
