"Thanks very much, Mud, for all your info on the Millis case!"

De nada, mi amiga.

"This investigation into the Bosnian arms-Bin Laden connection and also the CIA's bankrolling of the Afghan Mujahideen of the 1980's, definitely would have led to Millis' extensive knowledge of CIA involvement in the drug trafficking."

Still, I wanna repeat my response to you regarding this issue on another thread. While engulfed in the Cold War, America was forced to--or chose to unwisely to (that's where the argument is, IMHO)--befriend the Enemies of our Enemy when some of these convenient allies were not morally-worthy of our support. That has to be taken into account, IMHO, although I still agree that the Truth must be pursued tirelessly about the alliancess that were formed in both the 80's and 90's.

"G.W. Bush's position. The people that he works for expect results - results that put money in their pockets. In mid-summer, Bush administration officials had already announced their intentions to invade Afghanistan and overthrow the Taliban. Pakistani officials were told that Afghanistan would be invaded by October - and it was. And it's not just the oil they are interested in - it's the drug trade. Control of the region is worth billions."

Evidence, please...this sounds extremely tinfoil-hattish, IMHO...MUD

The people that he works for expect results

George only works for the American people. He is not a creature of Unocal.

As for any supposed rumors about war in Afghanistan, there are dozens of explanations.
1. Osama's guest, the Sheik from Saudi, reported lots of "dreams" about planes and buildings AFTER the fact.
2. If one million monkeys make one million predictions, some times they get one right.
3. We probably had contingency plans to deal with the drug trade or any other problem in Afghanistan. The military has contingency plans for practically every spot on earth, maybe even Switzerland.
4. Pakistan has a lot to say about what it thinks it knows but doesn't. Like Mussarak saying the air war bombing would only take 3-4 days.

Go ahead and peel the onion, "plans within plans," "conspiracies within conspiracies," but in the end you have the core, which is nothing.

Now if you want to talk about Unocal or the Russians making plans on how to ship out the historic and enormous find in Kazahkstan, fine. But I know George didn't go to war in Afghanistan because of some pipeline pipedream, and I know he is not doing the bidding of Unocal.

Or are you one of the nuts that thinks we blew up the Twin Towers and the Pentagon ourselves? No wait, it was the Israelis, right? Had nothing to do with a Trilateralist oil conspiracy. It was a Jewish plot, right?

More confirmation of your Unical layer to the Afghan conflict as: "President Bush has appointed a former aide to the American oil company Unocal, Afghan-born Zalmay Khalilzad, as special envoy to Afghanistan."

Oil company adviser named US representative to Afghanistan

Thanks for your excellent posts backing up this thesis. It is also worth noting that it was announced today that the 181st Airborne will setup an air base in Kyrgyzstan. Between 1998 and 2000 the U.S. provided 1.062 billion US$ in military and economic aid to the Caspian state (U.S. Dept of State,pg 96 in Resource Wars by Michael Klare).

Looks like Caspian oil operations are at stage two after the Klinton softening up process.

A former Pakistani diplomat has told the BBC that the US was planning military action against Osama Bin Laden and the Taleban even before last week's attacks.

You have such great sources.

And in case you don't know this, we play military games targeting all sorts of nations and people. Glad to see the military had enough sense to know these people were our enemies and to prepare a "what if" scenario. If my husband and I could figure out in 1992 that the WTC and Washington, D.C. were targets, then I'm sure the military had a few people who knew the threats out there better than we did.

And I'm so happy that you love and believe the Pakistanis and their former government officials more than ours.

"Reuters, July 4, 2001
"The United States could launch military retaliation against Afghanistan's ruling Taliban if Saudi militant Osama bin Laden attacked US interests..."

Which, of course is EXACTLY what Osama bin Laden did when the WTC was bombed in '93, and when the USS Cole was attacked, and when the US Embassies were attacked...all attributable to Osama bil Clinton's Taliban LEFT!!! What's yer point, ratcat?! You inferring that going after those who mass-murdered thousands of innocent lives is somehow unjustified?! Yer not sayin' that, are ya?

Oh...and thanks fer posting a compilation of Leftist Pro-Terrorism Propaganda Sources, my FRiend, I've been unable to come up with such an All-Star listing of unreliable pro-Clinton Terrorism sources as you...muchas gracias.

What a bunch of HOOEY...LOL!!!

"...the US was planning military action against Osama Bin Laden and the Taleban even before last week's attacks."

As well we should!! If we'd had a REAL POTUS from '93-'00, I know--for a fact--that those 3000+ folks would NOT have been mass-murdered on 9/11/01!!

Osama bil Clinton is MORE RESPONSIBLE for 9/11/01 than the AmericanTalibanLEFT, IMHO, but both are GUILTY and SHALL BE BROUGHT TO JUSTICE!!!

Comments, anyone?!
