Cooper is head of National Aviation Holdings that owned A/C. Many Florida flight schools train Arab students. Wonder if comment was made so as not to p. off students. Wonder if Arab pilot flew A/C into building. THIS IS FR EXCLUSIVE!!!

Cooper, who owns company that owns aircraft that hit Tampa building, made these comments in a newspaper article after the Sept 11 attack. He was describing the lifting of restriction on flightactivities and he chose to describe how we sould "be nice to Arabs."

Just why did he want us to be "nice to Arabs?"

What is an FR exclusive, that "many Florida flight schools train Arab students."? Well no $hit!

Have you ever considered that Arabs are not permitted to learn to fly in their home countries? Where else would they go if they wanted to learn, England?

In England, you have to pay a landing fee each time you land. Britains come to Florida to learn to fly, too, because it is too expensive in their own country.

I've talked to some of them and they tell me that they can buy a round-trip ticket to Orlando, pay for three months in a condo, all expenses, and learn to fly - cheaper than they can learn to fly in England.

People come here - always have - because in America we have something called freedom. Here, we can do whatever we think best, as long as we don't harm somebody else. It's called "individual rights" - what a concept.

Some of you want to end that in the name of "safety".

Stop and think. Young man steals A/C. Chooses to fly toward largest city in area. Was able to take off, retract gear, fly 25 miles, but made no to attempt to avoid building. Chooses to fly into Bank of America.

Motive?

Doesn't want to get involved so let the government do it. And believe the government will do the right thing. That has proven to be one of the worst ideas ever uttered. I therefore by inference wouldn't trust his piloting skills anymore than his grasp of government.
