The Frankfurt School Funhouse

The Frankfurt School Funhouse

At the Frankfurt School, established in 1933 at Columbia University in New York City, Theodor Adorno, Wilhelm Reich, Erich Fromm and Herbert Marcuse launched the program that would lead to the mainstreaming of cultural Marxism.
Their assault on American values left Pro-American intellectuals in the dust scratching their heads wondering what had happened to the philosophy of the founders.
Freedom, liberty, and morality, ideas that established the greatest society in history, have since been reduced to saloon talk on radio shows and websites.

Exactly what was the allure of the godless foursome?
Why didn’t freedom advocates check them on the battlefield of ideas?
The simple answer is that the Marxists offer sex, drugs, and rock and roll.
Their message, what Marcuse called “polymorphous perversity” is specifically marketed to American youth in an advertising campaign that would humble Madison Avenue.
Polymorphous perversity holds that the ideal state of existence for man is when he is free to do anything he wants with anyone in any combination at anytime.
Moral strictures on behavior, cultural Marxists tell us, are man-made and man-imposed and therefore, by definition, repressive.

Their main weapon, quite man-made in and of itself, in their war against freedom is what they call “Critical Theory.”
The focus of the “critical” analysis is, naturally, institutions that lend themselves to the maintenance and furtherance of freedom and sovereignty such as individual rights, morality, belief in G-d as opposed to the state, the self-sufficient family and business, local elected government, and national sovereignty.
It is quite fashionable to bash these things as “repressive” without questioning why.
The main force at play for the cultural Marxists is social pressure, intimidation, and a promise of a guilt free existence.

Never mind that our American culture provides a high standard of living for the cultural Marxists who tend to be in the upper economic strata and who don’t generally do much heavy lifting.
This would certainly describe the Frankfort foursome and their ilk.
Their stock and trade, then and now, is to tear down the foundations of the society that so amply sustains them.
Like termites, they chew at the internal structure until it collapses into dust.

The reason they are so hard to combat, besides the fact that they offer sex and drugs, is that they don’t actually stand for a culture.
The cultural Marxists actually represent an anti-Culture.
They seek to tear down any notions of culture and replace them with…well…nothing.
They stand for nothing and everything at the same time.
This becomes apparent when trying to debate a cultural Marxist, and if you don’t believe me try it for yourself.

Cultural Marxism is all the rage with the power elite.
Without a definable culture and definable values that promote morality, self-sufficiency and sovereignty, a society is more pliable to control by these elites.
The trick is that the elites sell cultural Marxism as liberation while they tighten the noose around the neck of the decaying national body.
The Frankfurt foursome understood this, as did the legions of elitists who soaked up their ideas.

Cultural Marxism has been a fascinating phenomenon in the land of the free and the home of the brave.
The masses smile beatifically as they hand over 40 % of their earnings to a benevolent government that promises to take care of them.
Fathers and mothers stand by docily as their children are lobotomized and sexualized in schools that have become more like mental wards.
Most are overcome with hate, as if a computer chip implanted in their brain is sending out a signal, at any mention of morality, property rights, the right to self-defense, or the right to life.
In the name of freedom, the Frankfurt philosophers have created an invisible mental straitjacket.
Fear and loathing in the land of plenty.

I remember reading, a while back, that Hillary was a big fan of Herbert Marcuse. It figures.

The cultural Marxists actually represent an anti-Culture. They seek to tear down any notions of culture and replace them with…well…nothing. They stand for nothing and everything at the same time.

Sorta sounds like that mythical 'Bridge to the 21st Century' they kept yammering about.

Exactly. Very well said. And this 'anything goes as long as I am in charge' philosophy started with the drugged, rocking & rolling hippies. The old hippies have never gotten over their stoned dream. They are now in posititions to try to legislate their halucinations. Watch that hilarious, old, hippie Hillary.

Actually, the Institute for Cultural Marxism was created at a Frankfurt university. After the Nazis expelled them, the reconstituted themselves at Columbia.
