What is your view of the stupid, trial lawyer circus just beginning with the Jihad-rat?. Will we have to endure another O.J. Simson farse? I think this traitor should stand trial on a military tribunal over there where it took place with the rest of the vermin.

They should have dropped him into the ocean on the plane trip back. This is going to be one of the biggest mistakes that the Justice Department and the Bush Administration has ever made.

I believe we should have left Walker to rot in Afghanistan! I find his defense attorneys beneath contempt and I am not too pleased with Fox News for showing pictures of him as a kid and interviewing neighbors like this is some sort of a choir boy gone bad!
I find the whole thing despicable, distasteful, and sickening. The former cliniton democRAT US Attorney for this court in Virginia has been hired as a Defense Attorney -- to defend this terrorist. I do not see why the networks cannot refer to him as a terrorist which is exactly what he is.
Now his lawyers are saying he wanted an attorney -- give me a break -- they have video, etc. saying he waived his rights. Wish I was sitting on that jury!

I noticed the start yesterday on Good Morning, America.
It is going to be a multi-ring circus:
Ring - ACLU/Bleeding hearts/Bleeping hearts/Attorneys
Ring - Court TV and other networks vying to televise
Ring - Media dailies
Ring - Pundimwits and even whole programs devoted to the trial
Ring - Psychoterapists/psychologists/psychiatrists presenting all the "poor me" excuses
Ring - US DOJ
and any other "ringers" who want their 15 minutes of fame or figure some way to capitalize ($$$) on it.

The worst thing that has happened in this War on Terrorism is that they found this guy. He is now the poster child for the kumbaya crowd.
American hero Mike Spann should have shot this piece of sh-t while he had the chance.

and any other "ringers"...
I'm afraid that's going to be a VERY long list. I'm sick of this already.
Pundimwits--priceless!

Here we go with the "let's save this poor misguided boy" chorus. The H*LL with him and his 'misguided' family. He's a traitor and should pay the price. I personally think he should be in front of a firing squad.

Thank you, President Bush, for folding like a cheap card-table.
Also, I can't thank Lady Bush enough for horning in on the act, gushing all that motherly, understanding garbage, and being willingly used as a political prop. Thank you for all the insincerity and political opportunism.
Thanks HEAPS.

Remember, the OJ farce was facilitated by a Bozo judge. Trials become circus' when the judges allow it. I'm gonna wait to see what this judge does (or doesn't do). Let's hope he has the cajones of judge Sanders Sauls.

This is why I am fully in support of military tribunals. It was enough to make a person ill, to listen to these lawyers get on tv and bark about the fine American legal system that we should be so proud to show the world we have.

Firing squad works for me! I got so mad at Fox, I turned off my TV when they showed that picture of him as a kid. GRRRRRRRR!
To: Uncle George
I do not understand why they are procecuting him.....he choose to go fight for another country....revoke his citizenship which would doom him to a life of wandering the deserts of ashcannistain. If he committed war crimes....treat him like any other taliban....
Unless.....they are going to make an example out of him for the radical minded militants here in America, ie: gun owners, christians, freepers etc... I believe the Beaurcracy sees the aforemention groups as, just as dangerous....

>Will we have to endure another O.J. Simson farse? 1) I think the military should have shot this guy in Afghanistan.
2) However, having kept him alive and brought him home, I think it's impossible to keep Blue Nation scum away from this and they will turn this into a farce much worse than the Simpson trial or the Rodney King cops.
3) Rather than endure the media crap, and as awful as this nut Walker is, I think the Feds should just LET HIM GO.
4) I think it would just be a way of making the best of a bad situation. The Feds are being called brutal and oppressive about the Cuba camps. The Feds are being called brutal and oppressive about not getting this guy a lawyer right away. Whether such things are true or not are beside the point AS FAR AS THE MEDIA IS CONCERNED.
5) If they just let this idiot go, all the Fed and military people can make media speeches about how the war on terror has been so successful that they don't need to "persecute" one idiot for being an idiot. They can acknowledge that he did horrible things, that they have every right to prosecute him legally, but they can say they are being _humane_ and _compassionate_ and _forgiving_ (and all those other words that the democRATS act like they own) and the Feds can just co-opt the entire circus...
6) I know it's not right. And I know it would make a lot of people angry. But just letting Walker go would be such a media coup that I think the good things out weigh the bad...

I think it's time to let the news networks pick up the court costs for these things.
