Based on the howlingly hilarious Bush-ism of yesterday, I made this today for my brand spankin' new copy of "Bias", and I just had to share.
;^)
It is wonderful when the media proves what it sets out to deny.

You've exceeded your allowed amount of bandwidth on Geocities, which is why no one can see your bookmark. Oh well.
To: AnnaZ
Thanks. I printed mine on card stock. Looks great.

The link still won't work for me but I have Webtv. (hides head in shame) :9(
I'm going to send my copy to my mixed up lefty (but calls himself sort of a conservative) cousin in CA. He says he is a social liberal & a financial conservative. I told him that meant he wanted MY tax money to go to social programs & he didn't want to pay ANY taxes. He said that WAS what he wanted. The book is going to freak him out.

I'll get a "real" website to host it and ping you on it later. It's basically a bookmark of this but without the added emphasis.

Try AdShield. It beats Popup Killer all to heck. I'm using this beta version-- smooth as silk-- Here's the
link.

Amazing. I don't know why they don't they just say, "a book by a lying sack of ..." since that'd be closer to what they actually think.
To: John Jorsett
LOL! Exactly.
P.S. If you want the bookmark it seems I'm now reduced to emailing them out.

Just a hint-- scrap Geocities and move to Tripod. Geocities is not only more stingy with their allowed web-space but very touchy. I uploaded about 70 family reunion pictures and got the account suspended because they were not actually used on a webpage. It took them only minutes to suspend the account and more than a week to restore it.
The page links were to have been my next step the following day (some people do have day jobs, family, etc. and do have life outside the internet, y'know), but there was no way to do the pages with the account suspended. Real geniuses.

Thanks for the tip, I'll definitely check them out!

Yep. And it ain't a river in Egypt, baby!
The Goldberg book, in which the former CBS correspondent charged that the network where he worked for 28 years as well as other news organizations suffer from an unconscious liberal bias, has made it onto the New York Times bestseller list.
Oh, it made it all right... 3 weeks ago to number 1 and holding steady.
I've captioned my bookmark thus: When Bias Is So Bad It's Parody

Try Pop-up Stopper from panicware.com. It works well with MS IE. Thanks for the info and thank you even more for the link. Those pop-up ads are worse than being at a Saudi bazaare then there's nothing you want.
