More PETA stupidity. The local HS does this every year to raise money.

They don't NEED to give a cow a laxative.

Trust me on this one: I live in America's Dairyland.

Cows affected by "laughter?" If that is true, why aren't they to embarrassed to make a baby during the day in plain sight of anyone who happens to be in the area? Come on peta, get a life!

These PETA folks just get more and more assinine
(oooo--I used the word "ass"--will that offend all the poor, sensitive donkeys out there ?)

Evidentally these PETA nuts also think it is "cruel" to keep a pet dog or cat -- they should come visit my house and see the 3 kitties we have, and how fat, happy and spoiled they are (as in -- they don't like to drink out of a water bowl so we have to keep a little fountain going at all times)
If I "released" our cats into their "true environment", two of them would be dead in a week, since their hunting skills are completely non-existent (one of them had a mole skitter across his paw and he ran into the screen door in sheer terror)-- the third cat might survive a month or two--he has caught plenty of mice and shrews -- but he never eats them--he just throws them around for awhile and then brings them to me for extreme praise and (I think) because he likes to "laugh" at me as I gingerly pick the thing up and dispose of it -ICK

Who, said what? Oh, PETA? Someone's still paying attention to them? I thought we had more important things to do than satisfy a bunch of self-hating nutjobs' need to feel relevant.

Personally, I kind of like Gateway's use of the cow in their ski jump commercial.

Here at the local university, the cows have "access ports" in their sides. A student can take off the cap and stick his/her entire arm into one of the cow's stomachs to check on how the cow's food is being digested.

I agree that this is an improper use of a cow.
Cows should be used for milk, meat and leather.

Could this be a mooooostake on the part of the university. After all, the cow should then be allowed to play soccer and softball to compensate for her efforts. Or maybe at least supply the leather for the balls.
