Happy Gilmore move over :)
A few years ago I over-drove a green and hit a guy teeing up on the other side of some trees at the end of the hole I was playing.
Golf is dangerous. I'd bet 20-30,000 new laws restricting all things related to the sport of golf could prevent such tragedies in the future.
Isn't the correct name "454 Hand Cannon"?
If the ball didn't blow to bits, I wouldn't be surprised if it did 1000 yards.
Heaps, I guess. Now, I don't mean this in a disparaging way, but are they as intrinsically fascinating as firearms? Regards, By.
DON'T bring flame wars, from another site, over to the Free Republic.
First and final warning, peabers.
DAMN! You Americans have EVERYTHING! :)
Who are you to warn me?
No, I haven't. Sounds like quite a buzz!
Does it feel as good as putting three shots into a cigarette pack at 250 metres? :) (I think we're starting to establish a golfer-gun nut dialogue, here.)
Someone who knows FR's rules, Pea.
Save the stalking for Yahoo.
It depends on who's pocket the cigarette pack is in. =:^)
I would, but you ran off yesterday, and we haven't seen you since.
Golf courses do often ruin what would be a perfect range area, I will concur with that.
You know, I was just thinking of that comparison. The attack on the 2nd Amendment is based upon the argument that gunownership is a collective not an individual right. For years, I've argued that if the 1st Amendment were treated as the 2nd, then political speech by individuals would be also be banned. One could say that if 2nd amendment rights were exercised by the National Guard, then our speech rights were also exercised by Public Radio.
Of course my liberal "friends" derided this argument. But isn't that what Campaign Finance Reform does? Our rights to free speech will not be exercised by our friends in the media and our politicians while free speech by individuals will be banned? Isn't it amazing that liberals who supposedly honor individual rights are the first to abandon those rights?
Him: "Ya wanna go golfing?"
Me: "Sure! Can I bring my new driver?"
Him: "Of course!"
[later]
Him: "WHAT THE HE11'S THAT???"
