Daniel Crippen, director of Congressional Budget Office, opens by saying future budget projections are bleak.

So far, same old, same old.

Short of shaping our armies around weapons of mass destruction and the new methods of mutual assured destructions used by terrorists, we are dead.

Never underestimate the hate of the "anti-hate" mongers. Wanting to ban the free academic endeavour is synonymous with something worse than racism, it is “wordism”, witness intimidation and truth killing. It is one thing to be hated for your skin color, it is another to be hated for what you know and have witnessed in such matters. Killing the witnesses is the death spiral which the criminal has entered once he or she committed the crime.

From Socialism's petty fascist thefts of the bourgeois and the children for cheap excuses, it is a slippery slope to total annihilation indeed. Children are their key, because children are silent witnesses to their crime against them. Lack of gun ownership makes us all children, just as woman silenced by her veil. And the list goes on and is all too familiar.

A conspiracy? A rejoinder for irresponsibility? Whatever the source may be, remember that we do not live in the information age, but in the nuclear age, for it is nuclear weapons that are the main instruments of leverage against America as a witness and home of refugees, the main instrument determining how the information may be distributed in the future. There is no more powerful mean of intimidation out there, capable of turning the best of friends into the collaborator with enemies against your own soul. Gun ownership, nuclear capability of the United States and our relationship with them will determine from here on out whether the internet was indeed just a big joke.

As for those in fear of US government conspiracy and evil banking businesses or Jews, remember this: the US government right now is virtualy in charge of protecting our internet rights in the world with its diminishing nuclear weaponery, and the banks did the IPOs that made the internet such a liquid information asset available to all. These are not witness temperers as far as we can see, their nukes we do not fear when we speak, it is the nukes from over seas that you have to fear.

Put aside for once your unleveraged differences, and focus for once together on those leveraged differences you have with evil yonder, lest it won't count then when they do the "collateral damage" body count, for there will be no one to witness the count. If anything, make sure that the body count will be witnessable by all that survive, that is the key to continued civilization.

Here, maybe. Not elsewhere.

Test of laser-based missile defense system is successful

The Tactical High Energy Laser is designed to destroy

Israel may put technology to use

From Military Affairs Correspondent Jamie McIntyre

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The successful test of a laser-based missile defense system may mean Israel will soon have a potent new weapon to defend against rocket attacks.

In a test conducted on Tuesday, a 122 mm Katyusha rocket was fired from New Mexico's White Sands missile range. Seconds later, a powerful chemical laser several miles down range successfully tracked and destroyed the rocket with an invisible beam.

The U.S. Army said the test was of breakthrough technology called the Tactical High Energy Laser, designed by TRW Corp.

"Israel has made it very clear that it will protect its people along its northern border," said Pentagon spokesman Ken Bacon. "The United States has worked with Israel in the past to meet its security needs, and we'll continue to meet with Israel in the future."

Military Affairs Correspondent Jamie McIntyre reports on the successful test of a laser intended to destroy missiles in flight.

Israel is fortifying its Lebanon border with an electronic fence, beefed-up army outposts and high-tech detection devices to replace its abandoned military presence inside Lebanon.

Israel had hoped to have the anti-Katyusha laser fully deployed before giving up its buffer zone in Lebanon, but the $190 million dollar project is slightly behind schedule and over budget.

It could be deployed as soon as early next year, if further testing shows the laser can destroy multiple rockets at once.

Though the United States picked up part of the costs of the test and has nothing like the rocket-killing laser in its arsenal, it has no plans to field the system, officials said. With no threat from its neighbors, the United States wants a system that is more mobile and has the capability to defeat a wider range of missiles.

Well, sort of like it...

Bump for whatever it takes to protect the borders, ours or Israel's.

These folks said yesterday on C-Span (Tues.Feb.19th) that this "Planning Event" would be also 'on going' today (Wed.Feb.20th).

It very well may be being held today too, but I don't know why it's NOT being shown on T.V.!?
