"Did the REAL Jim Shea write this, and write about his mom, or does the author merely share his name ??"

Very observant MM ... the author (Jim Shea) is a regular columnist of the Hartford Courant. His stuff is always way too liberal to post here ... I would use up all my "Barf Alerts" allotments, if I posted his columns! Just a co-ink-a-dink! &;-)

"...particularly U.S. skater Sasha Cohen, who handed hers to President Bush during the opening ceremonies and demanded he talk to her mother." I missed that. Did that make it into the daily dose of Dubya?

Are the games in Athens? If so, NO way. I've been to Athens, Greece. One huge city, and not very safe for Americans. Now, Turin, Italy is another story...

I'll be your guide ... it is wonderful! A coup now and again, but nothing serious!

What a tempting offer. :) I said if I ever went back to Greece, it would be to Delphi, and the Greek Islands. On a cruise...

We may indeed be going to the 2004 Olympics - depends on several things, including financial status and other things (too numerous to list here).

"it would be to Delphi, and the Greek Islands."

No cruise! I'll arrange our own yacht! We'll see every island under the turquoise skies ... to heck with the Olympics! &;-)
