Statement on the Recent Bill Jones Campaign Email Distribution
Sinan Kanatsiz
February 28, 2002

This statement concerns one of our clients, the Bill Jones for Governor
campaign.

Stevenue was hired by Bill Jones for Governor campaign as the Internet
Marketing arm, slated for video email production, html design, email
harvesting and distribution to an opt-in list. A separate wide-spread
email sent in February was delivered through a private vendor located in
San Diego California. The distribution avenue was offshore, and targeted
a harvested list of registered republican emails.

Strevenue continues to serve the Bill Jones Campaign to the best of their
ability and has suspended distribution emailing through the sub-vendor.
Strevenue is continuing a business relationship with Bill Jones & Co. and
plans to stand behind the campaign till the very end.

Riordan may be a liberal, but CA Secretary of State Bill Jones apparently condones spam (which is essentially theft from ISPs and their customers). Bill Jones's campaign contacted an email marketing firm to "spam" potential voters.

GO SIMON!

I voted this morning for Simon.

I wasn't gonna do it, after even he admitted to his own shameful voting record.

But I'm registered "Non-Partisan" and a poll worker tried to steer me to a democRAT booth.

I couldn't stop myself. I saw his name and just drove that stylus in.

"That'll learn 'em," I thought.

And I wrote in Hugh Hewitt for Lt Gov....

Hmmph!

I do look for duplicate posts, but I didn't see the original thread. Thanks for the heads-up. My apologies.
