Man Threatened With Prison Time

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A Louisville man agreed Tuesday to abstain from sex until his child support has been paid in full.

Louisville station WLKY-TV reported that Luther Crawford was given the choice of abstaining from sex or facing one to five years in the penitentiary.

Crawford, 50, owes $33,000 in child support, WLKY reported.

Crawford admitted that he's fathered 12 children with 11 women, but he said that he's now learned to use contraception.

"I thought about it and thought about it," Crawford said. "I want to get out of jail. I don't want to go the penitentiary. I'm afraid I might die up in there."

Prosecutor Alan Cobb came up with the agreement.

"If he's not going to be supporting the children he presently has, and he can't work in the future, he doesn't need to have any more children," Cobb said.

Crawford chose celibacy instead of a cell, but he's not happy about it.

"No, I don't think it's fair," Crawford said. "I feel I should be able to continue having intercourse with a woman by protection, but not cut off."

Crawford said that he hasn't been able to pay his child support because he's blind in one eye and has glaucoma in the other, suffers from heart problems and has damaged tendons in his wrist.

Crawford has questions about how the no-sex rule will be enforced.

"Who's gonna be watching?" Crawford asked. "They gonna be at my house or follow me, or is a probation officer gonna take tests?"

Cobb explained the procedure.

"If probation conducts a routine visit, and he is found to be in the act so to speak with another person, that would be a violation," Cobb said.

Getting another woman pregnant would be solid proof that Crawford had sex, and would result in his being sent to prison for a probation violation.

"I've been thinking about it and I ain't gonna chance it cause you never know," Crawford said. "I'm gonna stick to it ... I'm gonna try my best."

Even if Crawford gets married, Cobb said he may still try to enforce the no sex agreement, WLKY reported.

Crawford said that his longtime girlfriend wasn't aware of the agreement, but from now on, he will just have to tell her no.

By nature the offspring of idiots have less chance of survival and it's natures way of evening out things.

Slight problem. Stupidity in most cases has ceased to be fatal nowdays, therefore natural selection no longer works. But the Dems are sure happy to have more constituents....

A vasectomy, are you kidding? At 50 years of age and 12 children, he's just "learned" to use contraception. What a complete and utter moron. Why is it the stupid people are the ones who seem to be the most prolific?

Simple: The Government at the National, State, and local levels is so involved in "protecting" us from harm, that the natural weeding-out process has been interrupted. Ordinarily, accidents and other types of occurrences would remove these idiots from the gene pool, but now they are allowed to propogate in numbers unheard of in previous generations. That, and 40 or 50 years of public schools wherein children (who grow up to become adults) never learn how to really think. They're trained to be sheep, and to let others think the hard thoughts for them. They are taught that actions do not have consequences, other than to allow them to claim "victim" status and be rewarded for stupid behavior. We are reaping the whirlwind from the sowing to the wind that was done a generation ago.

I think probably the only way it will be enforced is they'll throw him in jail if any women in his vicinity turn up pregnant.

I think it's even simpler than that. It's a breakdown in morals. 50 years ago, somebody's daddy would have shot him for the stinking old billy goat that he is.

I'm back! Boy, did that take a lot longer than I thought! But it was such a pleasant experience, I may just have to kill again tonight. :o)

PS I don't need hand sanitizer. I just wipe my hands on a nearby cat. (I would have used a 5 letter word beginning with p and ending with y, but I wouldn't want to get this thread yanked. Did I say yanked? Yikes!!) fsf

As long as you don't say 'choked', you are safe.

P.S. Use the hand sanitizer.
