Baldwin doesn't even have the balls to admit what he really meant in his 9/11=11/00 speech. He's backpedalling like a madman because he knows his stupidity will be bad for business....
That was my take on it, too.

Thanks for posting that text in your reply #17. Not only what you said is true, but my understanding is FL actually can restore the rights of felons if the felon applies and the application is approved. The process, however, is not "automatic."
I think Alec may eventually move to FL, so he can yap about Jeb while claiming greater justification to do so because he is a citizen of this state (along with Rosie). However, he should perhaps consider that the rest of the state doesn't seem to care much about what he has to say concerning our fabulous FL gov, especially since Alec never correctly espouses the actual details, facts or laws.

Yeah, I always thought that comment by Maher was really off the mark. I mean, if GW's job was to be a film or tv critic, then, yes, I would agree with Maher. But since GW is POTUS, I would HOPE GW has something better to do and think about than pop culture.

They are all still so full of themselves, aren't they?
I think Alec is fast becoming a class by himself -- speak loudly and often, but don't let any facts get in the way. Because FL has done MORE than ANY other state with respect to election reform, yet Alec tries to make it sound like nothing was done -- and nothing would be done were it not for the new 800 number now in place thanks to Alec and his organization.
Also, did you catch that one comment by Alec "What, did you go to a conservative charm school?" Or whatever it was. It's as if he can not handle any valid point made by someone else, and a buzzer goes off in his head: TIME TO ATTACK -- AND PUT DOWN THE PERSON -- BECAUSE THIS PERSON IS SCORING POINTS.

It seems liberals want Nietszche's Superman to be President, an all-knowing, effing smart guy with a big resume that is really impressive. They already had that. His name was Bill Clinton. You know. . . Rhodes scholar. . . married to the smartest woman in the world. . . and just ask Monica Lewinsky about how big his resume was.

Thank you for the encouragement! If we can find anybody with an Alec Baldwin movie we will suggest they send it back!!!

I see Fred Mertz answered the question. That's what I would have guessed also.

Actually I think about Clinton every day - we are still cleaning up the mess he made by ignoring national security while he was pouring his energy into the things more important to him.

I don't even need to read the transcript to know that anything BLAH-dwin says is pure pond scum verbage.

If he is going to be on Friends we'll be boycotting the sponsors.Friends should be boycotted anyway, since Jennifer Arniston has given the finger to President Bush and told Jenna, when she was working at her summer Hollywood job, "Hey, Jenna, we've got some beer in the truck."

Quoting Alec "is"
Baldwin:
"But what's happening is people are sidetracking the conversation, as I hoped they wouldn't, with being hung up on the outcome. No one's disputing the outcome. They are saying that we need to have election reform. You need to have provisional balance in a state like Florida. You need to have provisional balance in Florida like you have, at the very least, in California where, if you go to a precinct, and you go to vote, and they look at the log and you're not registered, you can still cast a provisional ballot, and they'll go find your precinct. And if the ballot you cast provisionally matches identically your ballot in your precinct, they count the ballot. With redistricting, they change people's polling places at the 11th hour. In many, many states, not just Florida."
OOOOHHHHH!!!! Is that how the Lib Dem's stole the election from Bob Dornan? Shall we count the "provisional" votes in Santa Ana???????????

Good point! Thanks!!!

Do you have a pointer or link to the story that supports your statement? I'd love to distribute that info to many friends who watch "Friends"

just ask Monica Lewinsky about how big his resume was. According to Gennifer Flowers, the cigar was bigger.
And according to Paula Jones, the cigar was straighter.
