Kasenge LC1 Chairman in Sembabule district Derrick Mukwata is of the view that masturbation is the solution to all those who want both the future and sexual relief.
He told a group of unmarried youths March 9 that masturbation is the only safe way for them to survive AIDS and live to enjoy the future fruits.
“Now why should you especially unmarried people die of AIDS while chasing for girls or girls moving with boys yet one can masturbate, get satisfaction and call it a day with even 100% confidence in life,” he said.
Masturbation is the manipulation of ones sexual organs to attain sexual satisfaction.
Mukwata said that the constant advises that those who can’t abstain to use condoms is also another deadly thing since condoms are not trusted technically.
“Don’t follow those advises that you use condoms if you can’t abstain. This is also deadly because a condom can bust or develop very small air particles. Just feel free, manipulate your things, reach the climax and plan efficiently for the future you will never stand to regret,” he said.
“What is special with man-woman physical joint which is risky yet the whole meaning in it is all about heart relief which masturbation also gives”, he added.
He said that such an act is highly used by people in the army, single schools and areas of opposite sex limitation which make them enjoy the fruits despite the fact that they have no partner.
He however said that masturbation is one way of sex abuse which he shouldn’t support if AIDS was not existing.
He told the youth who seemed to have appreciated the idea to find him at his residence for a detailed education about the practical medicine.

Get that last line where he offers private lessons in masturbation for those who are interested? Also, he says that it is a form of sex abuse, and yet it is justified because of the risk of AIDS. What religion was this speaker - or was he speaking from any religious standpoint at all? All the Abrahamic religions condemn masturbation, to a greater or lesser degree. In Judaism, they say that a man may not spill his seed in vain. However, masturbation by women is therefore not a problem. So the Rabbis have eliminated half the issue, and tend to leave it to the individual to control their desires. Christianity teaches that masturbation is a serious sin for anyone, and they have waged a campaign against it for centuries. There were all sorts of penalties, including being made to sleep wearing mittens lined with sandpaper. Islam also teaches that masturbation is a sin, although there is no specific penalty for it (amid all the stonings, floggings, amputations etc. there is nothing for masturbation.) The Islamic authorities, although they condemn it, do concede that it is better to masturbate than commit adultery. (I should say so!) I can't leave off without repeating that old joke - there was a survey of school boys in which 95% admitted to masturbation. The other 5% were liars.

He'd be better of teaching abstinence and teaching people to wait to give themselves to each other til their wedding night. Sex is explosive stuff psychologically and spiritually and and its a beautiful gift from God for men and women to express their love for each other under the right circumstances. Protection is always important but its never a substitute for the respect you owe the person in your life whom you love.

Catholicism condemns masturbation, not Biblical Christianity. The rabbis' teaching of men not 'spilling their seed' is a misinterpretion of the Genesis account of Judah's second son, Onan, who refused to perform his family duty by raising up a child through his brother's widow that would carry on his brother's name. What made it such a grievious sin is that he could have simply refused to accept Tamar (his sister-in-law), but he didn't. Using her for his own selfish pleasure was fine by him as long as it didn't end in pregnancy, which of course was the only reason why the two of them were to be engaged in sexual intercourse.

The AIDS pandemic on the African continent is so horrendous and out of control that this man is right to promote masturbation as the lesser of two evils. There are some estimates that say 1 out of every 5 Africans has the AIDS virus.

Other than the reference in the Old Testatment about a man "spilling his seed on the ground," I am not familiar with anything Biblical on the subject of masturbation. Just because various Christian denominations have made their own judgment on the subject doesn't make it Biblical.

More seriously, though,an orthopedic surgeon I know has repeatedly stated that latex has pores many times the size of the retrovirus believed to cause AIDS; the reason many surgeons are double gloved, or even wear armored (similar to fine chain mail) gloves to prevent potentially fatal nicks and cuts.

The number of general surgeons will decline if current residency trends continue (down 30% over 10 years).
