Good for Poland. Instead of telling Polish jokes I will substitute people from another more anti american country.

I don't know, what do you think, maybe we ought to consider forming aliances with the countries that support us instead of with the countries that don't?!

Finally, a european president with a backbone.

Truly, the term "Europe" is overbroad. When describing "criticism" of the U.S., it should not be painted with the broad term "European", but "French" or "German." or Whatever. Most european "countries" are supportive of the war, and in fact, seem to want to join in. Indeed, if we go to war with Iraq, we should include detachments from all the Eastern European countries, to snub France's nose.

Now I feel bad for laughing at all of those Polish jokes made by Archie Bunker. God Bless Poland.

Why are we still in NATO?
To continue to protect Western Europe from Communist Russia?

Something tells me that President Aleksander Kwasniewski remembers what another group of terrorists masquerading as Germans did to his country once upon a time...
Thank you President Kwasniewski, for having the guts to be our friend!

Hail to Poland and to principle!
To: kattracks
You think the Eurocrats will NOT jump on Kwasniewski the way they jumped on Czech PM Zeman after he called Arafat a terrorist and Israel the new Czechoslovakia? They shut Zeman up good in a hurry. Made him drop to his knees and repent.
I live in Europe and am becoming more disgusted by the day.

People in the former Eastern Bloc countries owe their new-found freedom to America and the American taxpaying public.
As the most recently American-liberated Europeans, they haven't forgotten who rescued them from tyranny, unlike France and most of Western Europe.

Interesting. In 1683, the Polish army was primarily responsible for defeating the Muslim invaders, lifting the Seige of Vienna and generally preserving Christianity in Western Europe. The spirit of John Sobiesksi lives on in Poland's words.

The first "Pole" [sic] I've paid attention to in years. Political junkies will get the joke, I assume.
To: kattracks
Poland has been a good friend to America. This friendship should be encouraged.
To: kattracks
The only thing that I have to say is, "God bless the Polish." Remember folks, the Polish love the U.S. and they are particularly fond of the Bush family. The Polish are a remarkable group of freedom-living people; this comes as no surpise to me. Again, "God bless the Polish."
