[history]
A grand jury investigating the disappearance of Chandra Levy has subpoenaed Rep. Gary A. Condit to testify in early April, according to law enforcement sources.
The D.C. Superior Court grand jury is looking into what happened to the missing 24-year-old intern and also probing allegations of obstruction of justice involving Condit (D-Calif.) and possibly others, the sources said.
The grand jury also plans to call other witnesses, including Levy's friends and acquaintances and members of Condit's staff, the sources said. Attempts last night to reach Mike Lynch, Condit's chief of staff in Modesto, Calif., by phone were unsuccessful.

Now that he's been essentially bumped from Congress, the floodgates will open and Gary will no longer enjoy the protection afforded to him by his office. Must come as a great surprise to this arrogant jerk. I hope the grand jury slams him.

Yes, I think now that he's not going to be privy to sensitive information they'll go after him. But, I'm betting he's going to take a few people down with him. Some of those politicians must be getting nervous now.

Hopefully, he will take fellow RATS down with him from the East Coast to Kali. One big RAT to go down with him (sorry I couldn't resist)hopefully will be Davis the brown out king of the West Coast!

Rep. Condit Subpoenaed By Grand Jury....Simple, but so sweet. He can't say he doesn't want to talk "to protect the Levy family" in front of the judge.

early April, We'll be watching, Gary. And, remember, we know when you are lying.

Condit (D-Calif.) Hey, this article says he's a DEMOCRAT. It's gotta be a first! ( but it would have been even better if it were in the headline).
To: knak
and the good news is that he will have to pay for the travel.

The authorities still have no idea at all what happened to this woman. If another mental patient in New Jersey again - or Montana, or Timbuktu - turns up claiming to have information about Chandra, they'll fly him in to talk to the police and maybe even testify at the grand jury. She just disappeared without a trace.
